Way to go Anne! Great results! I’m ten days in and losing pounds by watching your inspirational videos. Intermittent fasting definitely works and I’ve been fasting for 18-19 hours and eating low carb. I’m seeing progress and I hope I can get off my BP medications as well. You are looking trim!
@@kathyanderson2940 thanks Kathy!!! That’s wonderful! What wonderful results!!
Congratulations Anne! Watching you is keeping me going. I like that I was following your other channel, so felt like I know you and am rooting for you. Much different from logging on to watch some stick thin 30 something talk about weight loss, you are so relatable. Keep going Ann, we're all here for you. 🥰
@@RoseCottageColleen aw thanks! That’s what I want… it’s hard to believe a stick thin person who you haven’t seen before. lol
Anne, congratulations on the weight loss, medication loss !!! You look great!
I started carnivore/fasting last Sunday and lost 5lbs. But I hit a
wall. I'm out of energy. Exhausted!
I broke down and eat watermelon 😢😢
It's very difficult to eat enough because I'm feeding husband and son so I know I'm not getting sufficient protein. This is expensive also and I still have to prepare sides for them. 😢
@@Annette818 aw. I get it. I was so tired the first few weeks that I could hardly raise my hand in the air. It is expensive. Focus on hamburger and eggs… they are cheap. Get an app that will count your macros… your fat and protein content. Lean into more butter when you cook… it will make you more full. Give yourself more meat than you give your family… they are eating sides. It’s hard to make sides and not eat them. I know. I did that all weekend. What we do here is that Tom and Cami are in charge of their own food. If they are using the grill they will throw my meat on it but I just prepare my food and they are on their own. Good luck! You just have to figure out a way around it that works for your family.
Anne, you are looking fantastic! You meat looks delicious too. I will do my best to follow your lead. Thanks for your help.

WOW ANNE !!! Good for you. Im So impressed. I’ve only been able to fast for the most, 15 hours at a time. I guess I need to step up my game lol. Keto is the way but I make sure to get in lots of greens for those cancer fighting micro nutrients. You’ve inspired me to keep going and try harder. Like you, I’m not gonna step on the scale probably until the end of summer. Disappointment or unreal expectations will only bring me down. Good job. You re looking great and you sound more peppy❣
@@Lorina22 thanks Lorina! You got this! The end of the summer is a great goal to step on that scale. 15 hours is still great!
Wonderful Anne.. your body is adapting and it only gets better with each meal .. check you're dr video channel links they aren't working for me only goes to main search on UA-cam.. again congrats Anne!
@@CeeRafuse I will fix those links… thanks!!
*Energy* . I'm finding I have an abundance of energy that I thought was gone forever. That's the most noticeable improvement I've seen thus far. I will be doing a weigh in and measurements on Tuesdays. I did a weeks worth of meal prep in a day and that has worked out great for me. I keep two days worth in the fridge and freeze the rest. (I need the variety) I'm adding two tablespoons of ACV to a liter of my electrolyte water. I'm finding I am doing better with 2MAD, my meals are smaller because I just can't consume a large amount of food in one sitting. I am tracking my calories and macros. I'm doing 1:1 fat/protein for now. You're looking great and am happy to hear you are feeling better!

You are on the lion carnivore diet
There are many different ones
Some dairy cheese, cream stuff like that
But you are doing the most difficult to stay on …
You’re doing fabulously keep it up 👏👏🙌🌸
@@suzanne9204 thank you! Yes I am… I’m a lion because I have so many food sensitivities that I needed to eliminate a lot… eggs etc. I had scallops yesterday and immediately had joint pain. Slowly I’ve been forced down to the lion… I started bigger.
I love coffee in the morning. That’s not part of the lion diet lol
That’s really the only thing that would bother me plus I have a whole garden of vegetables out there that I really want to eat 🤷🏼♀️
I did make coffee carnivore ice cream .
Technically, it is the original recipe to Häagen-Dazs ice cream minus any sugar
I used five eggs to each pint of heavy cream, instant coffee, and a little bit of vanilla
But I had a turkey burger so I’m not hungry lol
And I don’t eat if I’m not hungry.
At this moment, I’m not eating vegetables.. because mine are not ready yet.
But I am eating cheese, all kinds of meat and bacon, butter, olive oil, heavy cream, milk, half-and-half, eggs, of course, and I will eat the ice cream when I can when I’m hungry
And all that is is eggs and heavy cream, technically
There are so many things you can do on carnivore diet that is carnivore so it makes it more normal
But I totally understand with all of your issues with food.
You look fabulous!!!❤
@@suzanne9204 I could totally get into what you’re doing! Hopefully at some point I can make that ice cream!

Did you get the keto flu and low energy at first? I tried keto and lost energy and had foggy brain. I couldn't push through it.
@@cherylweaver5129 yes! In fact I still think I have it! I was so tired I couldn’t raise my arms and for a few days my jaws hurt to talk. It’s gradually going away.
Way to go Anne, so proud of you. Now let me play devils advocate and ask you what happens to your life style when you have reached your weight goal? What new skills have you learned that will help you retain your goal? Are you going to add any, you know that nasty word, exercise to your day? Should we be cleared by our own family doctor to begin this journey? Trust Bonnie a weight see-saw myself to ask the hard questions. Just sayin.
@@bonniemiller9197 lol Nurse Bonnie, well first of all… people should talk to doctors about their medications and a food plan like mine can affect the medications that they take. Their blood pressure may plummet, their insulin needs will be reduced and they should be monitored for those reasons. So it’s always good to check it out with your doctor. Everyone has their own comfort level with what they want to tell their doctors about and their own individual health challenges. No one asks permission to go out for an ice cream cone or grab a bag of chips and wash it down with soda. We make our own daily decisions about what goes in our mouth and some are informed and some are just made by emotional impulses. My doctor told me to lose weight and it was up to me how I wanted to do that. People are individuals so that will look different for everyone. But if you have a serious medical condition it is always good to talk to your doctor.
@@bonniemiller9197 exercise… yea that will come… but because I’m so tired and my body needs healing I’m listening to my body. It says rest and I rest. Later I will get more energy and at that point I will get more relaxing walks and do my yoga… non strenuous exercise to keep from spiking my cortisol levels. I will also be adding some weight lifting, resistance training.
@@bonniemiller9197 what will I do when I’ve met my goal. I have 92 pounds to lose yet… it’s going to be a long time. I have healing to experience. I have absolutely no idea about the future… one day at a time. Right now I’m working on sticking to my plan. I can tell you that I will not go back to eating carbs even those deemed healthy. This is an elimination diet for me so once I regain some healing I can introduce some foods and see if they work for me. Way down the road.
@@bonniemiller9197 as far as new skills.. too early in the journey for that too! I do realize the importance of protein and fats in my diet… something that was sadly lacking before and I realize now that some of my favorite veggies were actually bad for me! Skills will come in time. One bite at a time. I’m not going to be the same person 1-2 years from now and because we are organic we have to continuously adjust for our age and our environment and for the conditions that we have or are relieved of. My one knowing is that I will never be a vegan again and that I’m not going to follow the food pyramid or ADA suggestions because that’s what made me sick in the first place.
@@anneclayseekinghealth I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. You have shown us what this journey means to you.
