Anne this may help you with time to get back to health estimates. I am in my late seventies and got an autoimmune problem about three years ago. My body was covered in psoriasis from having a metal plate put in my wrist during surgery, that I was not aware that I was allergic too, that I broke from a fall. I went on an almost zero carb diet and was told it would take 3 months to get rid of the psoriasis. I was at my last hope so I tried it. Anne in 4 months my entire was detoxed and the psoriasis was totally gone. I had had many health problems too most of my life so hang in there. I believe you will feel totally new in months not years. I am now on carnivore to stay healthy. 😢

*Energy* . I'm finding I have an abundance of energy that I thought was gone forever. That's the most noticeable improvement I've seen thus far. I will be doing a weigh in and measurements on Tuesdays. I did a weeks worth of meal prep in a day and that has worked out great for me. I keep two days worth in the fridge and freeze the rest. (I need the variety) I'm adding two tablespoons of ACV to a liter of my electrolyte water. I'm finding I am doing better with 2MAD, my meals are smaller because I just can't consume a large amount of food in one sitting. I am tracking my calories and macros. @@bonniemiller9197 lol Nurse Bonnie, well first of all… people should talk to doctors about their medications and a food plan like mine can affect the medications that they take. Their blood pressure may plummet, their insulin needs will be reduced and they should be monitored for those reasons. So it’s always good to check it out with your doctor. Everyone has their own comfort level with what they want to tell their doctors about and their own individual health challenges. No one asks permission to go out for an ice cream cone or grab a bag of chips and wash it down with soda. We make our own daily decisions about what goes in our mouth and some are informed and some are just made by emotional impulses. My doctor told me to lose weight and it was up to me how I wanted to do that. People are individuals so that will look different for everyone. @@stephanieburris glad it helped Stephanie! I’m sorry about the stall… how terribly frustrating! You know they always say your body is repairing itself through those times… I don’t know if it’s true or if it helps but …. It know Kathy Hogan deals with lots of women who have stalled and tries to find solutions. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could continue down the road on the same speed all the time!

Thank you so much for doing this video, because I’m having all the same cravings, the watermelon, the cherries. I am doing more ketovore, so I have had some strawberries. I have 10 more pounds to go and then I think I’m going to do seasonal eating. Whatever is in season that grows in my area at that time then I’ll eat it, if nothing’s growing it will be straight carnivore.. I love, love, the road trip analogy!!! That’s such a great way to do this whole journey. I love it. I’m so glad you shared this. By the way, have you thought about making a carnivore cake? There are recipes for carnivore cake, and there’s recipes for carnivore ice cream, which is so delicious. Mashed potatoes for carnivore that’s with Chris cooking Nashville. He has amazing carnivore recipes. Funny I used to live around the corner from Pawtuckaway state park, but we’d go to our own beach on Pawtuckaway lake that was for Nottingham residence. We couldn’t/can’t get in Pawtuckaway state park since my kids were a little, because it was always sold out. Now I live about 25 minutes from there. Near Milton 3 ponds, however, I’m usually down there because most of my families down that way.

I have to say that when my sugar spiked for the first time In my adult life it sent panic bells off. I had gained up to 250lbs on a 5' 3.5" frame. My asthma was terrible. My acid reflux was so bad at night my throat would burn. I couldn't do this to my body anymore! I'm so grateful for this channel. Staying on this path has so many twists and turns. I've been on again off again with keto for the past ten years. I love the visual you presented! Your voice in the background will be my radio on the trip! Lol Hugs!

I'm almost 10 month in and have lost over 40lbs and my cousin 90lbs. She showed me the way...Told me when first starting out make some keto treats to help get you over the very hard days...I did and it worked. Some keto mini brownie bites with erithyrol sweetener . It truly helped me thru the first 3 months, especially. I have made keto pizza crust for a treat too. For my bday I made keto cheese cake bites. ❤ This is a lifestyle and not a diet, and you can find ways to still enjoy going lower carb. When I first started I also made keto style Mac and Cheese using the riced garlic cauliflower with cheese , sourcream, butter and whipping cream and bake it.. I still lost weight! I found doing this helped me stay on track. I still stayed within my 20 carbs per day. I now for the most part crave meat , but once a week I allow myself a piece of keto bread. This is much better then eating a regular candy bar or falling off the wagon. I also make a keto iced coffee with just adding some whipping cream with vanilla and cinnamon and lots of ice! I lost weight using these methods and feeling good! I also made cheese chaffles with a mini chaffle maker and put some cream cheese on top. I know this is more keto eating, but now I've evolved the last month to more carnivore. These tricks my cousin advised worked!! I lost weight and felt in control. I still was staying at 20 carbs per day. I fast and often eat only 1 meal then switch my eating up on the weekends too. Keep my body from getting set in a food pattern. I wish you luck Anne! You got this! Remember, a keto treat is better then falling off completely!❤

I am so eternally thankful for you and your channel. I'm 70 and a few weeks behind you on my journey to health. Like you I've been binging on ketovore channels. I found a lovely woman named Violet who has a channel called Road to Health who is, I think, some kind of professional therapist. She is down to earth, and very grounded, and makes a scientific approach very relatable. You are my go to gals. I AM rewarding myself with things for my home. It makes me so happy to focus on that, and to have the energy to keep up with my dreams for my home while taking care of my 88 year old mother with dementia. When I think I may like to stray, I look at her and think of the mental clarity I've gained in the past few weeks and realize I don't want to get off this highway. Thank you so much Anne for being the wonderful, inspiring woman you are. ♥
