After 20 plus years of operation on my craftsman 80 gallon compressor, the pump gave out. I was fortunate to find Porter cable Air compressor(which is exactly the same as the craftsman) with a bad motor. Swapped out the pumps and added the tank inline. 160 gallons baby! I just want say how much I appreciate you sharing your work. You are kind and honest. I also have been using Rustoeleum for years. Most of the cars were painted with very same alkyd enamel, Dulux, when I was a teenager. It was a good paint then and affordable. People used to regularly wax their cars to protect the paint. I did. You are showing how new things can be done by everyone using enamel. Great job!
Pretty cool, you should try it with the marbling effect sprays, It comes out like spider or cob webs. I used it as a poor man remodel on my counter tops
I used the same clear to spray some Sapporo colorshift, used a Aeropro 1.3. No issues spraying. Will buy again, is was just the cheapest kit on ebay at the time.
Keep that PVC out of sun light, even if not in direct sun, uv will make it brittle and it will explode, had my shop air with pvc for about 8 years, it does work but I got lucky, same goes for pex, awsome vid!

What's up bro appreciate what you're doing with the tutorials on pigments. Have you looked at the Merlin industrial filter/ regulator from HF? I have one but haven't installed it yet looka like a good filter esp for the price. I also have the current filter setup you have with one more filter inline.
GT, get rid of the swivels, they flow less than the rest of your system, and they can flow less than some spray guns. Also, I'm sure you've heard this before, but seriously, get rid of the PVC, it's not a question of if, it's a question of when will it explode. I have a friend who had a section like that in his garage, bumped it with a broom and it burst hitting him in the face. It destroyed the safety glasses he was wearing at the time and drove them into his cheek. He ended up needing 20-30 stitches in his and some dental work.
GT Im trying to tint my speeco 2k highbuild primer. What do you recommend using? I need black. I think I seen you use rustoleum, but wana make sure of compatibility.

@IEatMedia they're great machines! I believe some models can also cut/ engrave wooden boards and cut fabric. My machine can cut up to 12" x 24" max! What did you need? You can send me another dm on insta,

I have a 11.5 hp 220v with a 125 gallon propane tank I converted.. Loads of air!
Try sprayway foaming glass cleaner. U spray it on then paint over it. Also known as "Mike lavalee killer grunge fx" by artool.

I haven't not seen you use silver and orange silver and red pearl I like to use that for my ability truck

I'm sure you know this but you can "Decant" spray paint and put it in your gun to spray and get a better result that out if the rattle can.
I've thought about doing this, but then I think of the mess trying to puncture a pressurized can 😅

Don't puncture it just spray the paint on the inside of a glass till its empty and let it settle for a few minutes. Then pour it in your gun! 🎉🎉🎉

How and where did you get the stencils? Can there be custom stencils made?
I used my vinyl cutter to make them. Stencil vinyl is easier to remove than permanent vinyl.
need a valve instead of a cap on the bottom of that pipe on the water so you can flush out water. time mark 1:25

How long did u let that paint set before u added the decal
The lagoon was from a previous experiment, but on the white, I let it sit about 5 minutes before applying the decal.
What machine did you use to get the stencils?
