I painted my 1966 mgb 2 years ago using eye candy pigments. I can tell anyone in here you really have to see the finish in person. These videos can only show so much. What you see in person is simply amazing
Man, I really like your channel. I have been looking for the right color for my 64 Chevy Stepside and you have shown me more options than I knew existed. Even for DIY. I can't thank you enough! You are truly a God Send for me!
Nice work, the gold to green shift has got me thinking maybe you might consider black base, next rainbow glitter in clear not a large flake, then a green to gold colour shift next. Always wondered what it would change like in the sun. Thanks for the paint ideas, keep em coming👍🏼😎👍🏼
We did something similar back in '03, a gallon of gloss black with 14½ oz of violet pearl mixed right into the paint. Called it BlackBerry Pearl. Deep Purple in the sun, black in the shade. One of my favorite colors ever. Thanks for the video.
Man you're knocking it out of the ball park with all the cool color combo's. Way to go. Really gives us great idea's on what to do next for our projects. Many thanks.
Awesome, I'm enjoying these videos! Definitely excited to give it a try sometime this summer. I keep seeing it being asked about spraying it over a certain color. Just an idea, but if it's not a pain. You can try spraying your bases vertically and at an angle(45ish) and spray the different base colors you have across the fender. You might be able to get some more outcomes for your videos. I'm thinking at an angle, it might provide enough shape to show the different perspectives and color changes. But something you might be able to try. Thanks for these videos!
Man , today watch this platform first-time, looks fantastic the original ,informative, descriptive adequate , glimmer style adaptation to perspectives variable prism of light..
Gracias por los videitos de colores customs se ven muy bien. Me gusta mucho y también para nosotros que no tenemos tanto presupuesto Rust oleum es muy buena pintura
And for those of us who want to do the pearls and candies without having to get overly invested, That Duplicolor pre mixed auto lacquer from Auto Zone, with a $20 Harbor Freight gun works awesome! It’s $35 a can, but it’s no fuss, no thinning or mixing. Side note, Rustoleum Glitter rattle can works great to be able to shoot flake.👍🏻
Purple is my favorite color, and that is a beautiful color. That ghost seems to have toned down the color transfers but enhanced that purple. I will be using those exactly like you did sometime very soon.
I've just started using the I candy products. I spray these pigments on 1:24 scale model cars. Of course, everything I'm doing, is scaled down from what you're doing, but I'm still learning quite a bit from you. Thanks
This kind of content is great because not everyone who wants to do some cool paint wants to have to invest a ton of money in order to get some cool paint done.👍🏻🤘🏻
I was so hesitant on what clears and paint to use on my Civic EK, Im gonna use the super matte black, and clearcoat with green pearl pigment. Thanks for the tips!!!
I know it’s been a few months since you recorded this video but lately I started watching them and I think it is a good idea to shoot a test fender before actually paint an entire car. Thanks for sharing. I might even paint my car like that.
That deep rich purple color is my favorite color. I paint all my engine parts deep purple. Was curious how a deep purple pearl would look over a nardo grey, or some sort of grey.
Thanks for posting this. I recently picked up some low-cost colorshift rust-oleum blue cosmos. Looks great on my lighter. This is the only vid I could find using rusto ultra matte with a color shift paint. It's going on a Huffy Nel Lusso which is getting a 212 cc engine good for about 60 mph 🤣
You got those subscribers because you deserve them... Great content, love the colors and will be waiting for more samples. Looking forward to trying this myself.
Im new and may have missed it but i would love a details tutorial on how you properly mask off. For example, around the windshield, do you will thr rubber up or mask right on it? Just a detail and up close masking and prepping video.
I used some metalic blue pigment for a base color and i think it was more meant for epoxy .it took about 8 coats to get a solid color and i had it mottled in some places
Digging the videos. The ghost pearl not changing the color much gave me an idea of a black base with a camouflage pattern of a green tan and brown pearl all finished off with a green ghost pearl. Just curious how the pattern would show.
The whole thing is awesome… But I’m wondering if the greens are showing as a reflection of the trees. They seem to line up when the greens are showing.
I LOVE THE PURPLE, BUT I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU USED RUSTOLEUM PURPLE AS THE BASE COLOR WOULD IT MAKE THE PURPLE DARKER OR WHAT, ANYWAY LOVE THAT COLOR THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND TIME MUCH THANKS AND RESPECT...................................
I wondered how that finish was achieved on cars...thank you very much. What is your fee for shooting a 2017 ecoboost currently Oxford White and gloss black wheels...........
Great job. I've always wanted to do my car on nardo grey with the ghost gold which I've seen before. Painted my car the nardo grey but never the ghost.
Loving these videos! The only problem is that I keep changing my mind about which color I want to paint my A100 van. BTW, do you know if you can use these pearls in an air brush?
I really enjoy your content and the way you explain what you're doing. I'm going to paint a custom 88 S10 square body. I want it a medium crimson something like the candy red you did with a good glitter to it but not too crazy. I found some apple red satin rattle can paint that I like. Any suggestions?
I’m gonna be painting my Coach this summer and I’ve been debating about doing a color shift pop sing on my striping down the sides and those type of videos really let me see the difference in color shifts without having to buy several different test colors. Is there anything out there that goes from a red red to a dark burgundy or maroon? That’s shat I was thinking on the stripe and then maybe a blue to a purple on the stars ⭐️ that are below the stripes

I don't think anyone else on UA-cam is showing all these color combos, you're making everyone building cars drive their painters nuts lol
Working with Whitley does. These 2 dudes are very respectful and fun.... Enjoy 🎉

Purple to gold is awesome and I do see the little bit of green around the body lines. Nice work!!

Thank you!
I THINK I JUST FOUND THE COLOR FOR THE ROOF ON MY 48 CHEVY COUP, GREAT WORK AND THANK YOU FOR SHARING ALL THIS STUFF, BLESSINGS BROTHER.
That fender has had so many coats of paint on it that the bodywork doesn’t need to be fixed anymore. Haha! I do enjoy your videos..keep it up, please.
Yeah i noticed a couple of knots dissapear lol

Oh wow! That looks amazing! I can't wait to see your next big project!

Thanks GT you just keep bringing the color combinations! I know it’s a lot of work to slow down and share your work.
Love the birds in the background.

Just want to say thanks for the videos. You do a good job describing and showing what's up.
What an amazing colour. Wow! Love the videos, thanks for posting!
You nailed it with that one.
Think I will paint one of my 5 string basses that exact color.
And for those of us who want to do the pearls and candies without having to get overly invested,

Man, I'm digging the experimentation. You're doing great work, sir!
You sir are the real deal! Thanks!
That 1 looks real nice. Top of the list IMO. I like purple tones too! 👌
😉✌
HOK Burple is 1 of my favorites.
Danggggggg, that color is fkn beautiful bruh
Imma save this video for when I get my own car, so that I can start spraying soon
I was so hesitant on what clears and paint to use on my Civic EK, Im gonna use the super matte black, and clearcoat with green pearl pigment. Thanks for the tips!!!

More than just samples or experiments, I'll be spraying my car soon
I like how you explained the process , I want to try it cause it looks simple . Good Job Sir.
You got a new sub. Purple is definitely my favorite color.
Thanks for the sub! 🙏
Definitely a beautiful color
Looks Great! This would have been a good time to leave the bottom Black and only hit it with the Ghost. I bet it would look Amazing.
That is a great idea, which I didn't think about at the time ! 🫤
This is awesome. Thank you for explaining! Can't wait for more! Stay blessed!
Subscribed!!! This color is amazing!!! I'm building an AWD Silverado. This is the color I'm wanting now 🤩
Great work. If you pre-painted your mixing sticks black, you would be able to see the color while you’re mixing it.
It turned out amazing bro keep up the great work. I can’t wait to see what you come up with the candy and flakes.
Right on Man I'd love to see that in a blue. Subscribed
Always enjoy these demonstrations. Hey maybe some roller wheels on your stand for moving the panels to the sunlight?
Im new and may have missed it but i would love a details tutorial on how you properly mask off. For example, around the windshield, do you will thr rubber up or mask right on it? Just a detail and up close masking and prepping video.
Definitely one of the best so far
I used some metalic blue pigment for a base color and i think it was more meant for epoxy .it took about 8 coats to get a solid color and i had it mottled in some places
Thanks for laying down some awesome colors.
Digging the videos. The ghost pearl not changing the color much gave me an idea of a black base with a camouflage pattern of a green tan and brown pearl all finished off with a green ghost pearl. Just curious how the pattern would show.
I see the green ! Came out nice, enjoying the vids ! Keep up the great work 😀
I love these videos id love to see a dark blue pearl over that matte black as I'm thinking of doing my truck that color keep up the good work man
Hey Gt thank you for the knowledge and the patience explaining the process long time follower
man that color is 🔥🔥.
i can imagine painting your car like that would come out nice!
I am so sad. I have an old pickup, and putting something on it like that would be lipstick on a pig! But so beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
The clear coat on eBay is out of stock another brand you suggest?
Or just wait till it’s back in stock?
Love the purple on the black base. Not the biggest fan of the gold flop, but the green looked good. Keep up the good work bro!
Love that color shift
Your videos are addictive
The whole thing is awesome… But I’m wondering if the greens are showing as a reflection of the trees. They seem to line up when the greens are showing.
Man. That's the color Im doing my 1958 chop off top vw in that combo. Now that's crazy with the rattle can.
I like it very nice well done I’m planning to do some spring with what you working with 👍
Love that shisho color, wonder what that would look like over a dark blue?
Pretty 🤩👌
Thank you , again 🙏😊
Should i just stop asking for the black or white pearl over charcoal grey basecoat????
In my opinion the matte black seems to be the best base for the color shift pigments
Can you do a silver base with the silver pearl and the sapphire. My husband has a 61 chevy truck and was wondering what that would look like. Thanks
I hope you are saving these formulas,It would be very nice to make a catalog ! Nice work !
That looks pretty sharp. You need to invent an agitater in the spray cup. To keep the product constantly mixed while applying.
All over some rattle can black. That’s impressive
I wondered how that finish was achieved on cars...thank you very much.
What is your fee for shooting a 2017 ecoboost currently Oxford White and gloss black wheels...........
Love your videos, do you have any videos on a color shift blue?
The "sushi roll" turns from a green to blue
ua-cam.com/video/53R57afnoaI/v-deo.html
Another awesome combo!!! Keep on keepin on!
I appreciate what your doing for us viewers but now I don’t know if I will ever settle on a base and pigment color for my car 😊
For more of a pop in the colorshifts, is it better to spray them on a flat black? Or a gloss black ?
Thise pearls will cover better in an intercoat instead of a thick clear
Really amazing colors. You inspire me to try something new. New subscriber here
Great job. I've always wanted to do my car on nardo grey with the ghost gold which I've seen before. Painted my car the nardo grey but never the ghost.
I'll spray some of the ghost gold over grey. See what comes out!
Maybe it's that extra push you need to make the decision! 😅🙌
Loving these videos! The only problem is that I keep changing my mind about which color I want to paint my A100 van. BTW, do you know if you can use these pearls in an air brush?
Im gonna do a car this combo excellent tutorial thank you for your work
Looking for a vibrant Burnt orange. Could you try this one or do you have a older video of it ? Thank you.
I dont know if i thanked ya for the vids , i might ove forgot , so here it go thanks 😎
My favorite so far
I really enjoy your content and the way you explain what you're doing. I'm going to paint a custom 88 S10 square body. I want it a medium crimson something like the candy red you did with a good glitter to it but not too crazy. I found some apple red satin rattle can paint that I like. Any suggestions?
Love this color and combo
Can you try to do a bare metal paint look? Seen people do it with a black base then mix different silvers for the second coat
Everyone seems to spray over black, what about silver? Not gray, silver. Is black the only colors that make the pearls pop?
I’m gonna be painting my Coach this summer and I’ve been debating about doing a color shift pop sing on my striping down the sides and those type of videos really let me see the difference in color shifts without having to buy several different test colors. Is there anything out there that goes from a red red to a dark burgundy or maroon? Beautiful effects
Nice, mix I am trying to build up my courage to spray paint my Dodge Ram 3rd Gen.
I just came across your channel. Great content. Keep it up. Let's see a lime green pearl over a silver base.
How can you take the metal flakes out of the Pearl
Man you have some cool birds in the background
You dont use an in gun filter? Just the pre-paper filter before gun fluid container?
Looks awesome! Have you tried Rustoleum Smoke Grey with that Ghost Violet pearl?
Could you do ghost pearl on graphite grey panel. I was thinking like crimson red
G.T. I would like to see you try an LVLP spray gun, maybe like R500, just to get your opinion of how good or bad they are!!!
