Absolutely love the color GT, but have to ask you please start wearing a mask brother!!! I lost my younger brother to lung cancer, he was only 52!!! We want to keep watching you for many many years, take care, ur pal!!!
I agree my friend, lost my uncle who was a painter. He had a Black Swarm on his brain from breathing in the toxic chemicals due to not wearing a mask !
Sorry for your loss! 🙏 I have a mask, but after leaving it outside for months, I saw what I believe was mold and instead of washing it I didn't use it. Trust, I won't do another paintjob without wearing a mask! Thanks for your support🙌
I use alcohol swabs to wipe out my respirator before each use. I have two masks, one with lead asbestos filters for sanding and one with paint filters for spraying. Great video, stay safe Bro!
Somebody is gonna have a sick ass looking one of a kind four wheeler. I bet that thing pops in the sunlight. Nice job.... I was so disappointed that you didn't chhose the copper, not really now.
Looks fantastic, now I need my 97 GMC RCSB Sierra K1500 resprayed in this exact combo... I was initially personally thinking Porsche Aventurine Green Metallic (it's slightly lighter green metallic, with both silver and bronze overtones) hit with a light copper or bronze pearl after the base, and then a few more straight clears for some depth, this looks so much like what I was expecting, minus the silverly overtone from Porsche's specific green, this looks more like a much darker and bronzer version of their Rock Green Metallic.
Just ran across your channel and checked out this crazy sick looking green with the bronze flake. Man that like 4 wheeler got a top notch paint job. I really enjoyed watching you this. I’m a concrete man but you got me checking this painting stuff out! Thank you.
Hey bro, I just found your channel. I love that lill ATV project, quick tip : try using oven oven cleaner and leave it over night. In the morning use a green pad with soap and water, paint will was off and still retain the grain and detail from plastic. (old school model builders paint removal trick) .
Beautiful job. Love the metallic finish. I like Rustoleum paints, but you definitely made the right decision to seal it first. Good work man. And in my opinion using the automotive paint instead of the rattle can. I think in the long run it’ll adhere better.
That F8 green looks great! I was thinking about going with a stock green color for my ‘71 Toyota FJ40, but this F8 might look even better. (The pearl looks fantastic, but not a good fit for an old Land Cruiser, I think)
I love these videos. You do a great job of explaining the how's and why's of your process. Has anybody used rolio pigments? I'd love to see the results
GT i love your channel. I think you're awesome. You have a great attitude and your positivity is contagious. I am learning lots from you. I worked at a body shop 15 years ago. I only learned sanding , masking and buffing. I would like to learn to spray with a gun. I don't know what equipment to start with.
Well, the good thing is that you learned the most important part of painting, which is the prep work! Painting comes easy with just a bit of experience. Air pressure, fluid, speed & distance.. once you have those down. Easy as cake! Sometimes, you can take days or weeks prepping a car. But once it is ready, it'll only take a few hours to spray.
@GTsPerformance I need to learn how mix paint depending on temperature and humidity. Thank you GT! I subscribed couple days ago. You inspire me to paint my ranger once I get body straight.
@@GTsPerformancenew subscriber. Watched like 15 videos since last night! I don't know if you know but a heat gun or even a hair dryer works wonders on stickers on things just a little bit of heat and I'll peel right off like new with adhesive and everything no stickiness
The pink paint on the body resembles a graphic dip process. Similar to adding paint drops to baking soda and water to create a design and dipping a guitar body in it
GT I been watching your videos for a bit now. And I absolutely love your combination on the pearls. I have a? For you. I own a 78 Chevy square body and I have a gallon of Ruby black single base but I wanted to know if I can add green blue and purple pearls to the clear if so how would I go about it?
This is looking great so far, I haven’t gotten to the clear with pearls yet. I have a question about flexibility??? These bodies are always moving, even just installing them sometimes requires twisting the body into place. I am very interested in how this looks after installation… and after a few months of use.
Great job! The only bad thing is HDPE,polyethylene or poly propylene all have releasing agents so you have to flame treat them plastic to remove it or no paint will ever stick and bond properly! That why original paint flaked off so easily!
Nice job! I wonder if you added the base material to the clear and used it like a single stage. So many options. Not just one way to get great results.
Looks awesome! I was team copper but think the bronze was the correct choice. Although I would still be curious to see a small test panel with the copper as an experiment.
I am wondering why you did not put the clearcoat on at first as you knew that the body had sunburnt areas and clean areas. I like the green and I used the Hunt Club Green on my Suburban with the second color being Midnight Blue. My vehicle will be out in the woods a lot so I chose the satin finish over the gloss.
it's nice to see someone show that things don't always turn out right the first time and that you need to fix things- but the color that he picked out-the ( hunter green ) is a lot darker than the paint that you put on, and why did you not put a light coat on the bottom before you started?
Love the color!! Wanted to ask if you painted a engine bay with rustoleum and never added clear to it. Can you later put clear on it after a long time.
Hey bro, I"m fixing to spray my Bronco with flat OD green. What do you think would happen if I did the same thing you did over that green? What would the clear look like over the flat OD green? They have some really nice green effects on the webb sight.
Great video, and absolutely beautiful melds of color. If there's any way you could make a video with the f8 green and the copper also... It just melds. Thanks.

That bronze over that green came out Bad Ass! Nice job brother
Love that. Especially when the light hits it.
Beautiful color
Great small project to teach and demonstrate. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed the video and the paint job looks excellent. Easy to follow due to you taking the time to explain what you were doing and using.
Jeff from PaintHQ mixed me the same color a few years ago, he added gold pearl the in the paint made a awesome color. Nice paint job.

Absolutely gorgeous
That came out awesome!!!! 🔥😎 I'm glad that I found this channel. I subscribed & have been binge watching your videos for a gew hours now lol
Nice job on painting, i would just suggest an adhesion promoter for spraying any plastics. Yes, i do understand it's a kids toy.
Nice I love the color
Man I like that color, looks good!
I'm learning so much from your videos.I love watching them.I appreciate you bro!
Glad to see you back spraying man I enjoy your content.
That looks fantastic. The clear is also impressive. Great job
Keep up the great work

WOW!! That color looks fantastic. I love the result,AMAZING!
Perfect amount of bronze pearl. If I were still working at the factory, I would try that on some scrap Challenger parts.
Gt, great job! That really turned an ugly object into a jewel! Thanks!

Yea that’s super nice good mix that metallic and pearl in there looks so good
Looks great 👍 👌
That combo is absolutely amazing
Pretty sweet!
Nice color! I'm waiting for you to paint my car that GT BLUE with MATTE CLEAR bro!
He's not gonna be alive long enough to paint your car unless he starts wearing a mask.....
That looked great!
That’s Awesome work I like. GOD Bess.
Nice color! Hope it stick well on plastic, you did forget the plastic primer/ adhesion. 🙂
Gorgeous color, I think it would look awesome on my 39 Chevy, think I'll try it
Beautiful color! I’d like to see it reassembled.
Great color great video
So far this is IMO one of your best combinations. I need to check out that Pearl Blue over Black :)
Man that came out beautifully. I wasn't expecting that.
Love that color combo!
I love these videos. You do a great job of explaining the how's and why's of your process. Has anybody used rolio pigments? I'd love to see the results
Beautiful love It
Beautiful my brother, love it

Dammm. That came out beautiful !!!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was some kind of hydro dip graphic too.
Turned out looking awesome bro 🔥😎👍
color came out sweet bro!
Man it's beautiful go to love f8 green.
Looks very nice
I really like this color 😎

What is the air pressure and tip also what grit sand paper did you use before you shot the paint? Came out awesome you have it down bro.

Stunning
Looks hella dope. Wish you could paint my quad plastics

Le quedó super clean el jalé viejo🤙
Gracias amigo 🙏

Bro, you made that look too easy lol. Nice color.
It really turned out great but I’m curious why you did not use primer initially?
I didn't have activator for the primer.. it had hardened in the can
What do you think if you also added a spoon of metal flake bronze or gold with the bronze pearl? Won't the flakes really stand out in the day light?
I like the color.
Definitely more is not better and thanks for showing the fix
Awesome
that does look good.
Love the color!! Wanted to ask if you painted a engine bay with rustoleum and never added clear to it. Can you later put clear on it after a long time.
Yea, I don't see a problem. The only thing I would suggest is to wash it clean before spraying clear on it, just to get rid of any grease.
Should I sand it?
Nice Job Bro
Love it

Bgood work.
Great video, and absolutely beautiful melds of color. If there's any way you could make a video with the f8 green and the copper also... It just melds. Thanks.
Where are you located
I have a question can you paint a black with gold flake
Can you make a video using bronze over the green rustoleum
🔥🔥🔥🔥
