Stick with him my man he’s growing I was subscribed when he was at like 4k subscribers and that wasn’t even that long ago there’s demand for this kind of analysis and no-one else really does it as well/at all
Finally, someone who actually looks at the credits of games. So much Nintendo misinformation could be cleared up if people just paid attention to them (esp on the Pokemon side).
Thanks. I've done a few of these videos now. They don't usually do all that well compared to other content but I think they're some of the most useful for forecasting.
for a moment I saw the title and thought it was an april fools joke. "Why would they call the Switch successor the 'Nintendo cube' ? " On an unrelated note, it would be funny to see an "April fools forecast" with the most inane predictions and plans for the future.
Ha, didn't occur to me people might make that mistake. I find April Fools get a bit dull in a social media age where you're just bombarded with nonsense for a day, but I do videos exploring obscure possibilities now and then (there's one coming up soon actually). I also have some ideas for more playful formats; I just need to find the right video.
It took me time to see that Clubhouse Games for Switch was made for NDCube, absolutely an underrated masterpiece and just 1 year before Mario Party Superstars, the person who organize those developers team deserve a rise
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Jamboree is also the first game with Waluigi being voiced by the plumber quartet's new voice actor, Kevin Afghani. And I think he did a fantastic job!
This is the highest rated Mario Party ever in the entire series history. The past 3 entries have been the highest rated too but this one much more so. Whatever they're doing they need to keep doing it.
I've noticed that the both Super Mario Party, as well as Jamboree, have had less of a focus on the boards, and have put more emphasis on the side modes. I'm curious as to whether Super Mario Party is a sort of successor to the Mario Party series. Super Mario Party gaining online support was a seemingly random occurrence, so I'm wondering if that was a way to analyze what parts of Super Mario Party was being played the most and compare that to how Superstars online performed in order to perfect Jamboree. In my uneducated opinion, I feel like they are trying to make people buy the game for all of the game's content, and not just the boards, hence the "Super" in the title of these new releases.
It was a surprise for me to find out that HudsonSoft employees got a second life with Nintendo Cube. By the way.. Switch² or Switch Squared would make sense as the next system's name. Especially if it had 2 screens, otherwise itd be just another Steam Deck.
Just finished playing a few hours of Jamboree, and, let’s just say it’s some of the most fun I’ve had in a Mario Party game, ever (And I didn’t even play with my family!). Excellent work by ND Cube on this one, clearly they have learned from past mistakes. It’s also very well optimized it seems. Lots of things happening on-screen and no frame-drops (Unfortunately cannot say the same for Zelda’s last entry…)
Not totally related, but I do really hope Nintendo Cube have some staff working on DLC for Jamboree. It’s a great package so far, but I do think the regular Mario Party’s minigame line up could use a little shoring up with some extra minigames. Also, I’d like Diddy Kong to show up as a playable character. As is though, interesting to hear all this and I would not be surprised if Nintendo Cube have something in the works for the next console already. I also would at this point assume Mario Party 2027 to be a thing if only because I was thinking a Mario Party this year was plausible, but it wasn’t a sure shot. But now, I’m playing it and it’s very enjoyable. Hence my comment at the top that I want more, lol.
So do you think it unlkkely that they'll keep Jamboree as a "forever game" updated with DLC, but they'd rather release a new one on Switch 2 in a few years?
Eurogamer's 10/10 edge lording haha.. so true Must be another person with zero imagination that denies the role of chance in life, plays mostly MS Flight Simulator
5:19 Correction, the last Hudson developed Mario Party was Mario Party DS
Good catch. I've pinned your comment for reference. Thanks!
@@nintendoforecast You're welcome! Love your work!
man it's so surprising to me that this channel isn't more popular. can't find down to earth speculation like this anywhere else
Such great info based on actual research and not guess-work or hope.
I’m sure he’s going to gain a MASSIVE following pretty soon
Same! He is very deserving of more subs. He does so much research

it really sucks the most popular nintendo channels talking about nintendo dnt know anything about the company.

Excellent point about online.

Just another SD? The Switch was first.
I'm probably going to end up still calling them ND Cube 10 years from now, it's a bit more catchy than Nintendo Cube

you’re output is insane man but i literally watch every video start to finish
Thank you!
Great work. Hoping you guys blow up. Best Nintendo channel by far. Great insight.

They may do DLC but historically MP games have been pretty regular and new games strikes me as a more profitable route.
Happy jamboree day
I’m waiting for brothership lol
Nintendo Cube would be such a fun name for the Switch successor, even though it makes no sense!
Nintendo: Been there, done that.

Japanese developers leaving Nintendo Cube for PlayStation? Wonder how that turned out for them, pffft.
Considering how successful the PS4 became probably very well for them. Especially when this happened was right when the Wii U had came out
this was also before sony foolishly downsized the japanese studio, even the current head herman hulst whants to get rid of them.
