I've been trying for the last two hours to balance my phone on it but it won't balance. I think it's too light. Are you supposed to use extra weights with something like a phone?
I experience the same issue trying to balance my iPhone 12 pro. No accesories added to the phone. Did you find out a solution?

Your phone looks like it’s mounted to use the front camera instead of the rear camera. Is that because of balancing? I’m noticing my phone won’t balance if you mount it rear camera forward and the clip not blocking the screen.

@@emmakniven Yes I ended up ordering some gimbal counterweights on Amazon. Kind of annoying; the mount for this should be designed to work with a phones primary and highest resolution camera.

Thank you for sharing!! I've been looking at this FeiyuTech G6 Max gimbal for using it for my iPhone 13 Pro Max along and GoPro Hero10. I have a question if I may; When using a gimbal, do you normally have the stabilization off on the cameras? I'm just wondering if the in camera stabilization would make the shot jerky and/or cause any other issues. Thanks again! 👍

Hi, I have a question about tracking.
The applicaiton, I suppose is Feiyu ON, does it support face / object tracking with this gimbal ?
I have old A2000 gimbal and paired with smartphone it does not give me an option for face / object tracking :/
How about the app that comes with that G6 max? Does it have any features that you can use with an iPhone, like the smaller dedicated phone Gimbals? The G6 seems perfect as I want to use it for an iPhone 12 promax with lenses and filters, but I would like to know how good the associated app is.

Hi there, I have a question: I got this gimbal today, and I can't rotate the knob ring of the ROLL Axis, its very tight. I did everything I could but I gave up, my hands are hurting already. Do I have to use a special tool for this one? Thanks a lot.

You need to run the calibration. The gimble is definitely big enough to handle the phone :)

I just got this but I can't get it to connect to the app. Also when I power it on it doesn't seem like the motors take over for the axis it's still free wheeling. Also on the OLED screen the bluetooth and wifi are not on. Any help would be appreciated.
Wow! Sounds like a lot. Have you looked through the manual? All of the steps to correct those issues should be in there. You’ll need to turn on the Bluetooth and WiFi in the gimbal menu (instructions in the manual). Make sure your camera is attached when you power on, and make sure you run motor calibration (instructions in the manual).
great video!! really considering on getting this gimbal for its size and weight capacity. a bit concerned with stabilization compared with a zhiyun.

Does it fit inside a bag?
That would depend on the size of the bag, but it’s pretty compact and would fit in an average sized backpack easily.
I might return mine, having much trouble with it, it’s either heating up or shaking badly plus it’s not connecting to my camera, if you know how to fix this issue, I’d appreciate the help
Hmm that doesn’t seem normal. Have you reached out to Feiyutech support? They may be able to help you with it, or help you get a replacement if needed! It does have a warranty. As far as the shaking, have you tried running the motor calibration? That might help. Definitely reach out to them though, they are very responsive and helpful!
Fayze Reviews literally just got it today but I got helped out by another UA-camr through insta on how to balance and fix that issue but not my only problem is how to connect it to the camera that I I could start recording through the gimbal

did you manage to sort out the heating issue? Mine is doing the exact same thing. I fixed the shaking with a calibration through the app but it's heating like crazy. only used it for like 15 minutes :/
