    I've watched a lot of videos on how to set it up and you are straight to the point! Good job! Subscribed 👍

    Thank you for the tutorial! I was able to get this set up in about 10-20 minutes. I had to unlock the top axis since I am using a kit lens on my Sony a6300. In addition to this I had to watch the Feiyutech G6 Max tutorial several times which recommends that you balance the top axis so the camera points directly up. Then you adjust the quick release plate back and forth until it is horizontal.
    My first question is this: When should we lock and unlock all the axis? After I unlock all the axis it works great. However, once I turn off the power on the gimbal, the camera drops to a weird angle or goes completely upside down. I went ahead and adjusted the camera and once I turned it back on it seems to autocorrect itself but only if it isn't completely upside down. Maybe I didn't balance the second axis good enough?
    Also, I noticed that when I put the gimbal in lock mode so it doesn't roll or rotate left to right the bottom and middle axis will get hot while shooting. And finally, I noticed that I may be only getting 3 hours of battery life but they advertise around 8-9 hours.

      Hello, in finding out the proper locks/unlocking, it depends what kinds of shots you're going for (although unlocking all locks is recommended for most shots), as unlocking the entire gimbal gives the most freedom for the most stable shot. If you find that the gimbal shakes while shooting, it is best to lock the problem joint as to stabilize it. It is also important to know that once power to the gimbal is turned off, it will go completely limp (which will not stablize anything).

      Agree. Too many issues and the video doesn't properly account for the tilt balance axis with a smartphone. He unlocked the tilt axis and the phone didn't move, so he balanced it before and didnt show us that process.

      @@pierredeligne4722 it's a great tut. There were only issues because he used a heavy lens. A smaller or kit lens tut would have helped most. Other than that it helped me a lot.

      @@pierredeligne4722 it's a bad gimbal IMO. I decided to hold off on buying one and get a good lens instead. A gimbal is not worth my money or time but a great lens is. I got a manfrotto handheld tripod for now and friggin love it. $25

    Hello.. I actually just bought 18-105 f/4 lens and It seems so hard for me to balance the a6400 with this lens into this gimbal. Is my lens just too big to handle with this gimbal or I just cant find the right setting? But I've seen some video using all gear same with me and it looks ok and perfectly balance with this gimbal. In my case, the big problem is the camera always fall to the front and I did many tweak on the top axis but never succeed. Maybe you could help me with the top axis balance? Thank you.

    Hello mate .. do you know which app i should use to control the smartphone by the gimbel because the Feiyu On App doesn't give me the ability to do zoom in/out while filming by the mobile? .. thanks in advance

    • @williamaungleyraud
      @williamaungleyraud 4 роки тому

      It is probably because the android support isn't as good as on iPhone. Believe me even if it worked you wouldn't want to use it. I have other gimbals by feiyutech and when the zoom knob/slider works while filming it gets so choppy and jerky that trashes the whole footage. Hopefully one day in the future it will have better support. Waiting for my G6 Max to arrive.

      We discovered that the G6 Max does have this issue, and unfortunately we could not fix it. We would recommend for you to simply buy another gimbal and returning/refunding the G6 Max.

    I don't understand why you not calibrate it so the gravity is doing the work in sted of the moters??
    If you do that you power off, relese all 3 lockes and the cam/phone is level by gravity.

    Hi, can you put face or motion tracking whit gimball?

    • @ethanandalex
      @ethanandalex  4 роки тому

      The gimbal itself has no face or motion tracking features, it only has pan/tilt features. Although you can download a Feiyu app for smartphone, once you connect the app via Bluetooth, I believe there would be face/motion tracking feature!

    • @williamaungleyraud
      @williamaungleyraud 4 роки тому

      Yeah you get face and object tracking in the app, but unless you move very slow and nobody else passes on the field of view, the tracking will mostly lose you or track someone else's face. Dji have the best face tracking in the industry, but again the price 😱 the Rounin SC is the rival of the G6 Max.
      Rounin SC $430-$539, G6 Max $229.

    I can’t seem to get the top level balance with an iPhone 11 Pro Max , any ideas? I never saw in this video that the top level was balanced as well, or did I miss it?

    • @ethanandalex
      @ethanandalex  4 роки тому

      You can try to calibrate the other locks at the bottom and balance out the weight for your iPhone 11 Pro Max. For example, you may try to get the first (most bottom) adjustable level and push it all the way to the back to try to balance the weight of the iPhone. Try to play around with the balances, and if it still cannot balance the iPhone, try to level everything so that the G6 Max uses minimal power but CAN hold the weight of the iPhone upright.

      Red Rock Thank you for the reply..
      From my Experience so far with the factory phone mount, the mounting hole does not let you slide the phone far enough forward to properly balance the top axis with out a counter Weight . I purchased an aftermarket smart phone mount off of Amazon, problem solved. Universal Cell Phone Tripod Mount... www.amazon.com/dp/B07573W8M8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

      I concur. The factory phone mount is useless unless your phone is very lightweight.
