Result depends on the particular green and violet. Dioxazine purple and thalo green blue shade will make a lovely neutral blue, but both of those colors have a high blue content. Blue is a primary color and can't be mixed in a high chroma variant.

Ive seen artist use Raw Umber as a darkening or in place of black? Ive seen this done but i dont know why you would do that. Do you know why?
