      @@LeeDowningKeat nope, doing research on which to get. Leaning towards cross grip as I need assistance and they have a better way to attach the rubber band that is used for that (in the duonamic I see two positions, tied to handle but that can start the handle from the position your hand is going making it less symmetrical or around the clamp but with how narrow it is it's a point load on the band causing it to more easily break there)

      One thing that may sway you possibly and it’s a new product I’ve just had sent to me and that duonamic have made rings specifically for it and inverted rows and jackknife pull ups are great for it. I will be doing a review on them soon

    I'm toying with the idea of the power holds. I'm a climber and use this with rings and rock rings, but your can't travel with rock rings. These seem good, but I'm on the fence between these and small wood-hanging finger trainers used by other climbers. I'm sure there's no wrong choice; these do look like an excellent addition to the system.

      These are really good and the climber grips you get with them although may seem minimal are really good for the size. Plus the fact you can have them plus the rings in one package is pretty cool

    Hi mate I just bought these.. over all pretty pleased.. would they hold up for every day use do you reckon ? I was very skeptical as to the longevity of them, thanks for the video.

      Yes they are well built yet a really simple design so little can go wrong with them. Pretty good on the doorframes too. Great investment. Have you seen their ring attachments

    I would recommend the cross grip. I enjoy them a lot more

      Have you tried both? I have never used them

    • @6jason6mehl6
      @6jason6mehl6 10 місяців тому

      I own both and for solid bar pull-ups the cross grips are the only way to go, but the versatility of the duos and the ability to use rings and hang board blocks make them the only ones I use regularly and the only ones I consider traveling with.

      @6jason6mehl6 I’ve never used the cross grips, they good then?

    • @6jason6mehl6
      @6jason6mehl6 10 місяців тому

      @@LeeDowningKeat I think they're excellent but greatly prefer the duo for my own applications. If you want stability at your contact point cross grips are your only option. If you prefer movement like with rock rings or rings as I do then the duo can't be beat. I know you could hang rings from the cross grips but if using rings is part of your regular workout, the duo setup just feels more solid.

      Yea the cross grips did look more solid, I was tempted to get a pair to review but never got round to them. For me I prefer the ability to rotate just feels nicer on the joints and get more from it.

    If anyone plans on buying these, I recommend spending extra on the gymnast rings.

      Completely agree the rings are a great edition and in my “30 full body challenge “‘with Calisthenics it’s these and the rings I use
