This young man ROCKS!
Finesse and feeling galore. Both performers. Really wonderful, thank you indeed
8:27... there´s no words...Only music. Amazing and beautiful perfomance.
Hindemith fantastic. Often overlooked. Hindemith genius.
Heard him playing the Walton concerto at the Three Choirs Festival this year. A very impressive talent.
my favorite rendition of this sonata that I’ve heard .... 😍😍 you play so beautifully!!
What extraordinary playing - and first class music making too. Great ear!
The portamento and microtonal inflections in the sixth variation were kind of weird, but I thought it all made for great fun. (Young Hindemith would probably have approved; old Hindemith, probably not.) I like it when thoughtful performers use the score as a blueprint instead of as Holy Writ. And this is a superb performance.
Yes, the notes are only an approximate guide to improvisation.❤😊
Spectacular job! Well thought-out phrasing and great style! Love this recording!
Beautiful playing.

I accompanied a violist on this piano years ago in college! Very beautiful playing both of you!
Прекрасный коллега по цеху!!! ❤
I love everything about your Third movement Variation VI
Amazing!!!!
I love your playing and I always feel like you're the next coming of lawerence power looks and playing wise 🤭
It's me or this has some quotes from Ravel's piano concerto?
Both Ravel's piano concertos were composed after this Hindemith sonata.
Hindemith was in a German army string quartet during the First World War, and was in the middle of a performance of Debussy's string quartet when news came of Debussy's death. And a few months later Hindemith wrote this sonata.

Sublime! Shame the pianist didn't prepare herself better though.
I thought she did really goodly 😊
