музыку Пауля Хиндемита-недостаточно образована,жаль.
Ну и,восполняю…
А Юрия Абрамовича
Башмета ,довелось
слышать много раз и
как исполнителя,и как
рассказчика. И книгу его «Вокзал мечты»
читала,дочке подарила. И даже сердилась на него(было за что),и не только я,но и другие слушатели.
Но любовь к нему, как к музыканту,все’
побеждает.
Здоровья ему и успехов в творчестве!
И какой он заботливый и любящий отец. Воющем-молодец!

It's amazing how rudely and wildly Richter accompanied.
Am I the only one who finds the second piano resting on the staircase quite unsettling?
It was probably put there to block Bashmet’s overheated lady fans from rushing on the stage.
Most concert halls keep 2 grands on stage for 2-piano performances of concerti, and other works calling for two pianos. It's normal. Look the other way if you don't like it.

It’s not an accompaniment. It’s a chamber sonata for two equal instruments.

Der Russe braucht den Deutschen. Der Russe schreibt einen riesigen Roman, Krieg und Frieden, 800 Seiten. Jetzt fehlt noch der Deutsche, der das Ganze auf vernünftige 20 Seiten bringt.
Also schrieb Hindemith diese Sonate.

Haha I remember a cunductor saying da Richter was such a personality force on stage, you had to bend to his will. I think Bashmet is encountering that here for better or worse.
Not at all. It's a great and equal collaboration. Check out 11:12 - 11:14 for just one example--see Richter listening, sensing, to be right with Bashmet (who leads)... Elsewhere the other way round, of course--that's what music making is about!
