SCAT JAZZ: Introduction to How to Scat Sing (scat singing tutorial!)

SCAT JAZZ, is all about a passion of mine - scatting! This video is an introduction to my mini series on how to scat. If you are interested in jazz vocal improvisation these scat singing tutorials will get you started! I begin by showing you how to learn the song structure (essential before you start scatting); and then I go on to show you how to embellish the melody and even add some jazz vocal licks! By the end of this series you'll be really starting to swing and scatting jazz solos with confidence! As we learn to scat, we'll also be getting to know a great jazz standard: Sometimes I'm Happy (Youmans/Caesar).
