I also experienced improvement in longstanding asthma. I was on oral meds and daily inhaler use. I didn't expect my asthma to improve with fermented foods, but it did. After about 6 months since I made the dietary change I am no longer taking ANY medications for asthma, anxiety, or insomnia. It dawned on me that maybe my new dietary habits contributed to the improvement.

I would love to hear your thoughts on something…. I have often wondered if the waters at Lourdes could be healing due to the “cultures” and strains Vs miraculous spiritually.
Such as these cultures you are evolving… the strains evolving.
Watching your videos and listening to the strains I remembered reading…
However, a bacterial study of the bath waters of Lourdes in France did bring a remarkable discovery. The Medical Bureau, curious to learn why no infection resulted when one diseased patient after another was bathed in the same water, took samples from the baths and had them analyzed. The reports showed extreme pollution-streptococcus, staphylococcus, colibacillus, and all sorts of other germs. Yet, astonishingly, when guinea pigs were inoculated with this polluted water they remained perfectly healthy. At the same time, two out of three guinea pigs died when inoculated with water from the river Seine containing much the same bacilli.
Hence the shrine's devotees have an extraordinary regard for Lourdes' water, as is attested by the following dramatic footnote: At the end of the day the stretcher- bearers and nurses often dip a glass of water from the baths and drink it as an act of faith.
The service of these voluntary workers is lavish and untiring. Many of them are themselves cures of former years, and their mere presence-the fact that they are now obviously strong and well-gives tremendous inspiration and hope to the sick.
I couldn’t help but wonder if it’s the temperature and many strains and some components in the environment lending to this supposedly very healing water that may simply be a very ancient “cultured” concoction where the healthy bacteria from all who have bathed there is stronger than all who are weak and bathing and ingesting this complex mix that has balanced itself then heals the individual by storing some imbalance to balance.
Just a thought outside the box.
A friends daughter was given waters from there and they even did a pilgrimage and eventually she did recover from her horrid eczema but her mother was doing due diligence to avoid allergens and clean up her diet and environment and yes “the waters”.
I surmised she got her gut strong again and resilient and with time… it was several years… she was “Miraculously” healed.
I believe it was a healing of her gut by many means and the cultures and many strains of the water along with her moms endless endeavors to provide her clean healthy non reactive foods was what healed her. Balancing and strengthening her gut.
Are you familiar with any studies on the cultures of waters like Lourdes?

Are there more probiotic strains of bacteria in kefir made with grains than easy kefir. If so, how big of a difference? Thank you. Love your channel and website. Just received an order today.

What type of allergies you have with milk ? lactose-intolerance ? allergies can also be triggered by sibo , sifo , leaky gut , h pylori . kefir made from milk has very less lactose left after fermentation and it can be easily digested by lacto-intolerant people .

After my entire adult life being severely lactose intolerant and asthmatic. Raw milk kefir has healed my asthma. After week three of consuming it daily I longer needed inhaler. Fast forward 7 months later having made l reuteri cultured dairy and using the kefir smoothie recipie with inulin powder and HMO powder pretty much alllllll my and my family’s food intolerances are almost completely gone. I have been anti lactose like I said alllllllll my adult life. Turns out I was mostly allergic to pasteurization as well as the cows milk a1 casein. Like I said now that is gone due to raw unpasteurized milk kefir.
