    I just finished using the sample kit and used 99% clear isopropyl alcohol to disperse but all the cells disappeared as it dried. I tried to spray again but it did nothing. Is there a certain amount of time you wait to spray or am I missing something with this technique. I really liked the cells. Thks

    Very interested, and will probably be using within the next three months. My question is, if you use it on a living room floor, and you have a seam that needs to be filled where two rooms meet together to make one room, will it show if you fill it and sand it down? Also, after installation, if it gets wet, is it slick and a fall hazard?

    • @andrewmarkert1146
      @andrewmarkert1146 5 років тому

      Yes, they have additives for making a Bondo-like material, or you can use bondo. Just sand it after it is cured.
      They have videos on ho to do it.

    Hi Tyler,
    Great videos, have a question I’ve watched mostly all your counter top videos. I’m mainly interested in putting your products over ceramic tile. I watched one of your videos going over tile and filling in the grout lines, in the video it was mentioned you would be coming out with a way to do our back splash over tile and apply your product. Have you developed a way? And have you made a video to go along with the counter tops, showing how to keep the material on a vertical surface after prep and filling in the grout lines?
    Thank you, Ted

    After the dispersing effects do the craters stay on the resin?? Or do those go away?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 роки тому

      After using isopropyl alcohol for the dispersing effect, we recommend waiting at least 5 minutes or more to allow the remaining liquid to evaporate. This should allow the epoxy to self level again. Thank you!

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 роки тому

      We use plastic prongs to raise up the boards and then just add cardboard where needed to level the boards! You can order your kit at leggari.com and you can choose local pick up! Allow 3 business days for processing and then you can just stop in and pick it up! As far as classes, we have stopped doing in person training due to covid. Our Leggari Online Academy will be available soon!

    Did a sample board and didn’t come out glass smooth and I did use 91% isopropyl. Did I miss something in my steps? Or is it denatured for the bubble popping and I did it backwards?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 місяці тому +1

      The first thing we recommend spraying is 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol. This creates cells in the design and disperses the epoxy. Once that evaporates, spray denatured alcohol to pop any micro bubbles that might be in the epoxy from mixing. This allows us to avoid torching the epoxy and the risks associated with that.

    Hi, I tried to find this on your website but I couldn't. How big are those sample boards in this video and how much epoxy is going on? I tried to do a few sample boards myself, and I tried using a roller like you but it seemed to just soak up too much epoxy to be any use in spreading what was left to cover the board. I dont think I got the ratio of epoxy to board right. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Thank you for not acting like a pressure salesman at the fair... Product sells itself. Wondered why your product is almost double, BUT time is money and you do not have to spend so much time torching(3 times) and chopping product. Thus less time and moving on to other products. Makes sense.

    Does the temperature of the room make a difference?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  5 років тому

      During interior installation make sure the room temperature is between 72 degrees and 78 degrees, you DO NOT want any drastic rise in temperature during and after installation. So keep the area at room temperature during the whole cure time of seven days this will prevent any outgassing of the concrete which will create bubbles.
      For exterior installations or non climate controlled installations, install under 80 degrees. So if it’s hot outside you will want to do the install in the early morning or in the evening when it is cooling down (while temperature is dropping). Thanks

    I dunno if you read any of this but, I am in the 2nd week of moist curing my new 1200 sq ft concrete shop floor and am in the market for a nice finish durable Enough to withstand my metal and woodworking equipment on casters.
    I will build a sand tray for spark splash for metal cutting ect, but until I have all equipment permanently situated it will be moved around to and fro and I haven't yet been convinced that there are any of the nice looking epoxy finishes that can be expected to hold up as well as plain concrete with a solid sealer.
    Still I have gone thru a great deal of effort to water cure the slab so as to avoid placing any curing product that would prevent bonding with an epoxy just in case I am able to locate one durable Enough for my needs.
    If you offer or can recommend an epoxy or other product that might stand up to some rugged use, I'm bad wanting to be someone's customer.
    Thanks, Roger.

    How do you mix the white in the spray?

    Can this be used to cover tiles on a countertop?

      Yes it can be put over tile, but you need to fill all your grout seams with multi purpose bondo from Home Depot, then sand it smooth, this will scuff up your tiles also, then wipe it clean with denatured alcohol then you are ready to apply our epoxy. Take a look at the tutorial below. Thanks
