After having a really bad day I thought I'd film a little video while I'm on my way home to tell you all that not everyday is brilliant. I show a lot of the 'Highs' on this channel and I don't often show the low points, so I thought this little video would cheer you all up if you're having a bad day too!
Editing this video was great, I was able to laugh at my own misfortune and disasters! I'm sorry if you got on my bus this day (I wasn't in the best of moods all day) also big respect to the team at Sainsbury's for providing extra strong antibacterial wipes. I won't use them again improper, and I wouldn't advise it at all!! #badday #busdriver #huddersfield #vlog

I know how it feels to be in pain. It bloody sucks😔. I'm in more pain than usual coz I had a toenail taken off the other day. I was brave though (the injections waste worse to numb it I had 4 injections in my toe).😣😣

As a bus driver, had those kind of days also. Lately most days bus full social distancing. I cannot or will not refuse a passenger on a bus wearing a face covering whilst i passengers already on the bus not wearing face coverings. Aint right and not fair.

Mate, the fask mask problem is the same with us on the trains! We get told no one can travel without one but then the company says platform and train staff can't enforce it! Messing us up good and proper.

Know the feeling mate Monday was a nightmare, car wouldn’t start so left late for work, got there in the nick of time only to find id left my clocking on card and GreenRoad fob at home..... never mind it’ll only get better I’m thinking...... it was going ok until I then went and backed into another bus whilst parking up 🤦♂️ s**t happens as they say though just gotta crack on haven’t we 👍
We enforce the face masks here finally. I’ve gotten my life threatened cause I didnt let this teen PN cause he didn’t have a mask and couldn’t ride. So he threatened to kill me next time. Lol. Hahaha.
We all have bad days Shaun, hope you and the family are well. You haven't put a downer on the job as I think it's important to have all the positives and some negatives.
I feel ya mate. I've had plenty of days, where I've missed buses, lost car keys, got in arguments etc. etc. Just gotta suck up these bad days, and try make something good out of them to cheer yourself up. Thankfully today for myself wasn't one of those days, I was lucky enough to have 4 of my favourite buses! 😁 I hope the next few days go a bit better!

We all have these types of days, and it’s nice to hear the ups AND downs of your life. It’s how it goes some days, mate. At least no-one was hurt.

Nothing exciting here but a pleasant day nevertheless. Apart from finding out my local shop has put Yorkshire Tea up to £3 a box...this means war 😅
Know exactly how you feel mate! I’ve only been back 2 months and signed off on my own for just under 2 months and already had my first accident and I was ready to quit! I’ve had days I’ve gone the wrong way, customer complaints, bus breaking down and days I’ve forgotten my drink and hi-viz! We all have these days mate, take it easy 👊🏻
Bad days are definitely a part of this job sometimes! I hope the next day is better!

Know exactly what you mean, some days just go wrong for no particular reason, just lots of little bits that annoy you all line up in one day. The way I get through it is by thinking tomorrow can't be any worse 😂
As for me, well I'm back at work this week and today I managed a school run I've never done before with some instructions and google maps, with young kids dropping at farm entrances etc. Only in a 16 seater mind you!
Wow your day really sucked royally.
But anyways im on summer holiday, so I can just relax, and yesterday I had the biggest ice cream ive ever eaten, it was 28 scoops of ice cream in total, so yeah
The daily life of every bus driver. Feel your pain. The job just gets longer every day. More to do every day. Pay stuck in the dark ages. Why we do it I have no idea.
Hey Shaun we all have bad days. Hate to tell you I'm on furlough have been since March that's what happens working in a college. Got cricket on at the moment. At least you looked better when you got home. Hope you have a better shift next time
It shouldnt be up to bus drivers to enforce the mask requirements as a bus driver in France was mudered for telling a passenger to wear a mask

Well said Shaun mate I work for a well known bus company here in Liverpool as a bus fitter an yea I agree you do get bad and good days it can only take a broken bottle or my breakfast falling off my plate and that's that a negitive day can start but everyday is a new day

The mask excemption is stupid as Doctor's aren't issuing cards etc so how to you prove you have a legal exemption

Hello mate I'm still furloughed at the minute as my company is not yet ramping up services until at least mid august so can't wait to get back but i have had my fair share of good and bad days so i know what its like i think with the mask problem its the age old saying your dammed if you do and dammed if you don't. Loving the videos mate cheers stay safe.

Ist’s so hard to Mentally concentrating with all the family worries, then a car driver drives down the cycle lane cutting in between cars to cut me up in the bus then gives me the finger this is frustrating.
The masks is too open they drivers get the blame for everything, people don’t think your normal.
I have my bad days during the lockdown but things are look up
It's rough trying to focus when you're in pain so I feel ya. I've had a brilliant day so far Shaun. On my day off, i've been on a work interview at another buss company and it went well. New town new buss, slow traffic which was a relief. Looking forward to some quality time watching a movie with my girlfriend later with some snacks. Hope your stomach gets better.

Had plenty of those shit days, you sort of know when its your turn for one the moment one little thing goes wrong in your daily work routine then it begins to escalate as much you try to keep it everything in line.
Just need to cross it off and remember everything resets it at midnight
