    First time I achieved remission it was from kenny's protocol. But after a 1.5 years the symptoms reappeared. I again followed kenny's protocol and again went into remission.but again a year or so symptoms reappeared. The thing I noticed was that after a stressful event the UC came back. It was always the financial aspect of life that caused UC for me. Recently I was under sever stress but I was successful in preventing the relapse by meditation. Emotional control is the key in a stressful event. Holding negative emotions and feelings like fear, anger, anxiety, pain etc will eventually lead to IBD. It is clear to me that I am susceptible to emotional turmoils and because of that I got UC in first place. For 5 years I suffered tried almost every thing. But now I know the disease is coming from within and outside factors have little or no difference on it. I was shocked on how fast remission can be achieved(2-3 days). Thank Kenny for sharing this and motivating me.

      It's not about avoiding emotions. It's about dinding the root cause of it all and kinda work on that. Find the triggers related to the root cause.

      I fought and tried everything to get my UC under control. Left an unhappy marriage, my UC got under control as my life became happier. Was in remission for quite a while. Had a surgery on my scalp that I was awake for and it gave me a horrible anxiety attack. A few days later UC symptoms came back. One of the biggest things I remember thinking when I went into remission is that I was just going to stop worrying about what my poop was going to be for the day. The less I thought about it, the less I had issues. I’m trying to get it back under control again and I’m back to worrying about everything.

    Can so attest to what Mike says around 34:00 about eating healthy. I hyper focused on what I could eat and what I couldn’t eat as far as lectins, seed oils, starch, sugar, acid, whatever, and it made my gut symptoms so much work because of the stress. It wasn’t until I stopped worrying, that things got better. It’s important to eat healthy, but focusing on eating too strict and too clean can cause a lot of stress.

    I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease age 14. Was hospitalized on many occasions from loss of blood. My colon was so bad my parents were told I needed a colostomy, but my mother being a nurse refused. I struggled for many years until I had a pulmonary embolism and nearly died. I developed ptsd and had a break down I was so bad that I was sent to a buddhist retreat to try to calm my mind... they saved my life. Through spirituality and mindfulness my body began to heal itself. Crohn's is an auto immune disease - something inside of you triggers a response for your body to start attacking itself. I did change my diet slighty once I became more spiritual and in tune with my body I cut out take aways and junk food. But like Mike states I enjoy a coffee a croissant. 3 nights a week i will have a desert! My bowel was in pieces and after a year I went into remission. My surgeon could not believe the images - he said it was unbelievable. He asked me how I could possibly have done it ? And I told him straight away I believed with all my heart my Crohn's was linked to stress. We all know stress causes all types of disease in the body. A healthier diet of fresh vegetables, some fruit and meat without antibiotics will aid in the bowels healing process and build microbiom, but once your in balance you can start introducing some cheat foods balance it 70/30. From 14 - 32 was horrendous 10 years on gratitude meditation and gentle yoga/exercise like walking is the key to my remission. Hope this helps x

    Tried to follow GNM for years and stayed very sick thinking diet had no effect, eventually I switched to a diet protocol based on instruction from people like Kenny and Jordan Rubin, and within months I went from very sick to almost completely healed. Psychology does have an effect, but it is a piece of the puzzle, not the sole answer.

    I found Mike through Kenny. I still use kefir and sauerkraut and I try to have pre and probiotic foods. I have a lot of respect for Kenny. Mike's protocol helped me on my way to being able to eat what I wanted and not panic if I was having symptoms. I learned so much about the body through GNM. Mike and Deanna really encouraged me think differently and examine my conflicts. I will always eat rather healthy, but I will never be controlled by diet again.

    I've spent thousands on supplements, drugs, diets, it was a rollercoaster and years of pain I wouldn't wish on anyone. GNM was finally the thing that lead me to return to what life was. Eating any food, drinking any beverage. not changing the way I want to live my everyday life. Can't thank Mike enough

      overall, GNM is amazing, can't hurt to try, unlike some other methods that can hurt financially or even worse if side effects / surgery
      Only thing I wished was I did it sooner, no one should have a day like I did let alone years, but I am living life better than before now, onwards

    In relation to Kenny's experience with football. Its the fight or flight response. You may have loved the game, however, the problem is that in a game youre competetive, youre beating yourself up over improving, big guys coming at you really fast, its going to trigger stress.

    It was valuable hearing the situational and emotional points surrounding your disease, Kenny. I feel the beliefs and emotions we experience play a large part in these diseases. I’m especially glad you had Mike on the show as I wanted more clarity on his stark shift in his own process. Thanks for all you do! God bless you!

      After listening, I did check out GNM website in correspondence to a flare up and subsequent hemorrhoids/fissure issue I’m currently experiencing. It pointed to a territorial conflict and sure enough I’ve been feeling worried about where to live and almost could not pay my rent for the month of June (that’s when the heavy diarrhea began and thus the roids/fissure ensued).
      I agree with you Kenny in the notion of “why not do both” in terms of resolving conflicts and eating the best we can. But again it’s enlightening to line up these emotional stories with our flares. Thanks again to you both!

    Stress can be a part of the problem, but there are hundreds of clinical trial and basic research studies that shows these disease has distinct biochemical pathways. And BTW the gut dysbiosis can also causing antisocial behavior and anxiety and others based on research. So it is not so simple. BUT take care you mental health that is key for a good life

    I follow Mikes channel since years and I found him caused by a hint in one video here. And as a German, i have to say, that Hamer was interesting but not on the right way in all points. E.g. cancer is not always caused by a conflict. In Tschernobyl people got cancer by reparing the nuclear power plant which explodet. And they died from it. Nothing to do with conflicts. So it is a mistake to put all your money onto this card. Stress is a keyfactor and important, but not everything.

    • @angelinap9997
      @angelinap9997 Місяць тому +1

      Respectfully, Hamer did acknowledge that poisoning was an exception to the biological laws that he was presenting. I would classify those as poisoning. The same as if someone lost an organ in an accident; things affected by outside forces are not natural biological effects.

    • @Pixelpanscher
      @Pixelpanscher Місяць тому

      @@angelinap9997 Yes, so you can not use these biological laws universal. And as you maybe know our food is full of poison, from Glyphosat (Monsanto) to Phalat (plastics). Specially in gut issues you are always contronted with "poisons".

      This is so true - stress is worse on the body than diet. If a strict diet causes anxiety and stress on the body then it defeats the object. The middle was is always the best.... you don't have to be someone thats T total or someone that drinks to excess, but a glass of wine every now and then everyone knows will not hurt. Finding a middle balance is key. Manage childhood trauma and stress, make food switches to food thats alive to feed microbiom and cut out fast food and takes aways. Like medications you cant stop suddenly and shock the body, make slight changes everyday. When people follow extreme diets they are hard to stick too - thats why they are called fad diets. But little changes 1 by 1 made everyday... if you make 1 change a day within a year thats 365 adjustments that can lead to a new way of thinking and a new life !

      I went through this 10 years ago after suffering for 20 years (see my message at top of post). I'm 43 now and 10 years in remission , there was no Mikes protocol but I found it through buddhism . They too teach you about the mind and how it causes manifestations in the body. My crohn's desease was linked to severe childhood trauma and stress. Once I found mindfulness i naturally wanted to be kinder to my body so made slight dietry changes like cut out processed food. Healed the mind through walks in nature, gratitude practices. Body movement.. healing the mind truly will heal the body !
