i got this on sale for 39.99. dont regret it at all. the only other option that was tempting me was the razer cobra wired, but that's worse for all round productivity, like lack of customizable buttons, worse scroll wheel and worse shape. The only problem with the basilisk v3 is weight, and it is noticeable sometimes.

Skeptical about the design at first. Im a deathadder guy. After trying the basilisk i cant go back. This is much better i got the wireless, i might get a wired one. Something about synapse being in the background makes it not disconnect, figured that out the hard way during a game but seems solid now. Still im not confident with wireless staying connected, also wired just has more lights
I went from the Death Adder to the Basilisk and back again. I don't even have huge hands but the Basilisk just felt a lot smaller and shorter in hand compared to the Death Adder, which covers my full palms instead of half.

I bought this mouse a month ago. I usually keep my PC on or in sleep mode when I'm not using it, but the RGB on the mouse always stays on! I have enabled the setting in the Synapse app, which is supposed to turn off the mouse RGB after a certain period of inactivity, but it still won't turn off. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I was kind of disappointed with this mouse. The size in particular. I have smaller hands, but it still feels too small for me. The bottom of my hand hangs off the back, and within minutes causes pain. I would have liked to test it out more, but mine also came defective from Amazon. It took forever for the mouse to actually receive power and when it did, it kept disconnecting and reconnecting. This happened on multiple devices so may be a faulty cord.
I have it and use low sensitivity because I have a muscle coordination problem but it's still good hands are really shaky so I have to use low sensitivity it's just my thing. But still works great!
Does it take much pressure to push the scroll wheel click relative to others? I use for AutoCAD and press this all the time to pan around. I nearly bought it too until I read this. Tried G502x which was a disaster when scrolling. My current MS precision mouse was amazing but now it's hard to glyde as it must be wearing on the skates..
i also use it for autocad, and is fine to pan with it because also if u press a little bit more triggering the left or right wheel nothing different happens. Different story when u game, you really need a little bit of force to missclick the centerclick with the left click, to me is terribile but still a great mouse for scrolling@@bagpiper1000

Nah, keep that until it breaks down. Sensors dont do much as what people say unless your uber competative. Have a 8k and 26k sensor, i perform the same in shooters.
The only problem I faced is that upon moving the mouse sometimes the middle mouse button randomly clicks so I changed my middle mouse to mouse 5 and mouse 5 to the sens clutch thing and oh boy I love using mouse 5 as a middle mouse button.

See, I've been looking to buy a new mouse, my options are razer cobra, basilisk v3 (i cant affort the pro version) and the logitech g502. For the research that I've done, apparently the g502 has infinite scrolling (as far as i know that means that the scroll should never have any problems), the basilisk v3 doesn't have this feature, and I have even found posts of people with problems on their scroll wheel. I haven't found any information for the cobra. So my question is, how is the scroll wheel durability on the basilisk v3? Any other recomendations? I don't wanna ask about the other mouses, bc this video isn't about that lol

Yes, you can change that key to whatever you like. I've just changed it to 'space" to test it out Go into Synapse. Click on the button you want to remap on the right (mouse picture), then click one of the many options on the left. Click save. Job done. You can change the mapping per profile as well. Pretty good really.
Yeah, it's amazing. I personally think it's one of the best mouses out for especially just for looks, plus super functional and comfy. Razer just has that luxury feel, it's too bad - in my experience at least - that the rubber on the grips can wear out super fast.
Its meant more for trying to keep your aim still if youre waiting or the right moment to show or need easier tracking. Not really great for Cod or more of the arcadey shooters.

My review: I dont know what happened.. My old razer basilisk started to have loose contact so I needed a new one... I saw the V3 version and thought "hu, i guess they made it BETTER".. ho boy was i wrong.. did people actually test their product? I cant even express how disappointed I am with that mouse. The "razer basilisk" runs smoothly over my mouse pad while the new "razer basilisk v3" runs SO lumpy and unsmoothly.. I can feel every uneven texture of the mousepad... My old razer basilisk glides over my mouse pad.. the new basilisk v3 feels like it almost scratches my mouse pad... You think since its a new model that id be enhanced.... but sadly it just feels like they tried to "optimize" it by using cheaper materials... BIG disappointment. The raser basilisk was one of the FIRST mice i RLY RLY loved after trying tons of mice in the store and comparing... I was willing to pay the high price for a good mouse... but THIS basilisk v3 is an insult. I think I never left a bad review.. this will be my first. I just bought one today, and while i agree that you feel every grain of dust on the mousepad, if my mousepad is clean, it runs like a charm. You might have a pad with a different surface dunno. What i AM disappointed about is the scroll wheel. It's just too mushy for me and sometimes i scroll too far when changing equipment ingame. Especially annoying since i bought this because my old mouse started to lose reliability when scrolling. Have to get used to the weight because my old one was a 83g roccat kone pure owl eye but it still suits my mouse sensitivities

This mouse is absolute GARBAGE. It doesn't track on standard soft mousepad surfaces. I've gone through every troubleshooting step with Razer with no luck. Yes i bought a brand new mousepad, and the previous one was cleaned. It has this skipping, jitteryness and it's unusable.
Just return it for a new one. Have this mouse and a qck heavy and razer strider. Works well with both and tried it with just a piece of cloth, still works great.

The v1 got broken and thought i get the same perfect grip..v1 is a different mouse when it comes to the shape. v3 really really bad for claw. disgusting change, why? The right button of the v3 is inward bended the v1 outward. v3 feels just wrong and i am slower now. Imagine you do a million click a day, Does nobody care about details? Thats a different mouse, give it another name
