The Los Angeles Fire Department done a fantastic job and should be highly commended for there quick response and containing the fire from spreading to nearby business. Well done all.
Like the other commenters asked...does that shop have E Bikes? The batteries have been sponaneously combusting all around the world. Louis Rossman had a video a couple years ago when he was still in NYC about his ebike battery lighting on fire in the middle of the night.
Those ebike batteries are super dangerous. If the buildings are older (no sprinklers, dry wood) and/or packed with items, the fire gets out of hand in minutes. A couple have been linked to burning out low income hostels in my area.
Quick question. That building isn’t salvageable. No person involved. The fire was vented in the roof. Why have further firefighters on the roof creating vents, at 6:47. Surely that risk outweighs benefit?

Probably those -'E'-bikes Mike....happening "left & right", everywhere unfortunately. Scary dangerous!
I haven’t laughed this much in months. Your Arnold impression with “This is devastating, how could dat happen?”😂
'Hasta la vista' Mike thought in himself.
He brings a little sunshine whenever there is calamity
Maybe an eBike battery? There's been a lot of fires involving them exploding. The manufacturers should be required to have the batteries UL certified before they can import them to the US
God bless our first responders.
Burnt? Ridiculous!
#defundthepolice
@Kevin Dahlberg you're going to die lonely.
@@mrbikeman no, I belong to the party of of love and unity.
@Kevin Dahlberg best wishes for the future.
Thanks for the update German.
Jeeze that sucks. Thank you for sharing GIV. What a bummer.
What a shame 😔 Bless the first responders 🙏 Stay safe mike👍 poor little dog 😥💔
Thanks GIV Good Coverage exciting !
I am so sorry for everyone who lost something here and the poor dog that died. You might be on to something with the bike battery idea about how it started. They will probably put up an apartment building instead now would be my guess. Glad it wasn't any worse. Prayers to all who were hurt by this. Thanks to the firefighters.
Great report. Thank you!
Thanks G.I.V. for the inside scoop. Also looking forward to your perspective on the Oscars 2023!

GIV:Thanx for your service.🗽👍
Thank God for the fire department and thank God for GIV, Mike.
That footage of the firefighter with the hose and backdrop of flames was very impressive ! ...👨🚒👨🚒🔥🔥
Thanks for the video German glad nobody was hurt I hope they get everything rebuilt back to normal by Summer really a shame them are icons those buildings
The Los Angeles Fire Department done a fantastic job and should be highly commended for there quick response and containing the fire from spreading to nearby business. Well done all.
That's a shame and hats off to the firemen!
You could start your own TMZ German. Awesome footage! 🔥🛴📸
Those bldgs are mostly metal shed roofs, wire frames for walls. It’s cheap. Rebuild is cheap.
Wow. That is insane. Did the Police talk to the girl in search of pants? She said they were in there... at 7:53
Yeah whats up with that
Same question. Came for this comment.
Why would she have them off in the first place? 😂
Thank you for the video, it is sad to see a building go up in flames and sad about the dog. It was a good thing no one got hurt otherwise. Take care.
Quick question. That building isn’t salvageable. No person involved. The fire was vented in the roof. Why have further firefighters on the roof creating vents, at 6:47. Surely that risk outweighs benefit?
What a Bummer! Thanks though to the firemen!!! 🥲♥️🙏🏼
First responders deserve the real Oscars !!!
Those are historic buildings that should be preserved as a testament to the glory days of Venice Beach. When they're gone, it's too late.
It's a shame ...
Beautiful state ❣️ way better then NY 😎🐞 and you should be TV reporter....great job 👍 greetings from Brooklyn NY
I saw that Ike was giving a hand. Mad props to him and the others
So sad to see but thankfully no one was injured also I want to give a shoutout to the firefighters for working so hard to put the fire 🔥 out fast and keep it from spreading to other buildings also I want to thank you GIV for taking the time to document this fire for us viewers to see and I’m hoping if it’s not to much trouble I was wondering if you can keep us viewers updated on the cause of the fire because I’m very curious to find out the cause and thanks to your friends for allowing you to use their footage of the actual fire 🔥 now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you GIV and I’ll see you on the next awesome GIV adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
Hi Mike! Might have been where the Doors made their first album! Tragic!
Mike, I wouldn’t be surprised if the fire started from one of those E bike batteries. People have to keep an eye on them. I like to keep an eye on my phone while charging it. Just watch, the insurance companies will start asking and charging more if you park an E bike or electric car in an attached garage.
Forbes pointed out that the EV car fire risk is exaggerated, an EV is less likely to catch fire than a gas car is.
German in Venice. Thanks Bros and Sises, great as usual. You da man/honey. Thailand Paul Venne
I love your videos. I hate to see this fire. You've seen so many changes since your time in America. You could probably write a book or make a documentary by putting all your videos and editing them from over the years to document the changes, etc.
There’s more to come.
Thank you Dude!

Thanks for the video GIV, I've only been to Venice one time, maybe I should get out more.
Wow. Outstanding footage and reporting. RiP for their pet.
#2 the video of the fire was really frightening - even just watching the fury of what a fire can do.
thank you for being back
Sorry to find out about this, just visited there yesterday and did see some caution tape around a building so maybe it was that place. California has the nicest people, everywhere I went just pleasant people. Thanks for sharing GIV
God Bless our firefighters,cops,and EMT's 🙏✝️
Get over your self you yanks always think your heroes please that’s there job
This illustrates the enormity of what firemen face…Around 5:40 it shows how puny the stream from the fire hose is, when combatting the inferno. Love that Marine Layer.❤
How scarey GIV. Thank you so much for a great Vlog
