I really hope all these kids that are playing this, know who this man, Rodney Mullen is. He is literally the inventor of the modern skateboard🛹. And has invented so many tricks. Godfather does not even begin to describe. God is better
Maybe reading too much into this but Rodney has a point. THPS1&2 is a very important package in that it represents this kind of interactive historic library of the whos who of pro skaters from the last 40 years. Since the defining of it as a sport, really. As far back as Cabelero, Mullen, and Hawk, to new pros like Bufoni, Baker, and Nishimura.
I wish that the new documentary "Pretending I'm a Superman" was included in this game. I think then the game would have a museum quality to it that would really embrace its history as a celebration skating.

Blade Runner 07 definitely agree with all that you said, you made some very good points. The pro skater games got people into skating more than ever before. People like Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska and Tony Hawk are legends and are pretty much responsible for what skating is today. These games are also a huge part of my childhood so I can’t wait to play the remaster :)

But yea I know he was in the previous titles it’s just the song they used for his pro video was my fav, they recycled some tricks from the previous videos too if I’m not mistaken. But for some reason that game had the most impact on me. The first one I remember playing was pro skater 4. I was like 2-3 years old but, I did play them all through my childhood lol. Besides the robomodo games fuck that 😂

I love the new graphics and all the little details they put in this game, the pigeons, park bench, night skating, floor and wall designs.. all of the little things matter and I appreciate this so much.

My childhood! My junior high years. First Crash Trilogy, then Spyro Trilogy, and now this!!!!!!! I still remember when i landed my first kickflip i got tears of joy I couldnt believe it! Thats why these games have a very special place in my heart. Now i no longer sk8, but I did a little bit back in junior high cuz of THPS2. You dont even have to be in this culture to appreciate how good these games were, anyone can get into them

rodney is 53 years old he was born on august 17, 1966 in gainsville fl. he does not turn 54 until another month
So he was in THE skating game about twenty years before THPS was the skating game. Now it's been twenty years. So great to see all these old pros still skating.
