Still can't believe there are people that dislike Hearstone goofy expansions, c'mon, the Evil League and the league of Explorers are the best original Hearstone content
Story wise Year of the Dragon has not been topped. They tried it again a couple times but its never worked nearly as well with keeping a single main plot through the whole thing including mini sets. Personally I think they should do this for every expansion cycle as it helps keep a good theme and idea through multiple expansions. Otherwise classes end up just all over the place constantly and it gets annoying.
@@lydieraynYeah also in a way thst whole Year of the Dragon felt like a big crossover event storyline since it involved almost every major hero and Villain from HS lore and older expansions. Like every one of the League had their own expansion or adventure as the main villain.
It's got a charm that MtG just can't really produce. Hearthstone has that warm and inviting feel, "Come on in, you're gonna have a great time." If Wizard's wants the emotional tone to hit the right way, they can't really employ the whole "whacky adventure" kinda feeling. 36:30 all I can think about, seeing this, is that scene where the Knights of the Round Table are dancing and singing in Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Not going to lie, it was a lot of fun watching these trailers again, as someone who has played since the closed beta. As you know, playing the game for that long means that you are bound to have the tilt and salt seasons, which i'm going through currently. But watching these again helped to spark the inspiration again, that will surely last until the next expansion comes in couple of weeks.
I'm both a magic fan and a hearthstone fan and BRO, all of the cinematics of these games are the legit PEAK. P.S. Sarkhan is the type of guy that would never recover from Lady Prestor. P.P.S. That harmonic "we are the beasts, the monsters fear" still hits as hard as the day I found it.
Wonderful video as always! I think the reason Hearthstone trailers are so good is that well, Blizzard has done famously high-quality cinematics and trailers for a long time. At the very least since Starcraft 1, they've been seen as about as good as it gets when it comes to trailers and cinematics; when the original WoW trailer was released, it was among the highest-quality trailers for a video game ever. Wizards on the other hand are new to the medium of animation, and while they've found very competent animators and the aesthetics of the trailers are amazing, they don't have the tight writing or direction that Blizzard stuff usually has.
I never saw that magic school dual is so funny and out of mind completely random and the best thing that it was poorly made as a presentation by kelthuzad himself 💀💀

Keep up with the HS content. We love you!
Man, i no longer play HS, but seeing all this trailers fills me with so much nostalgia. I was there when the first trailer dropped and was hyped as fk, watched all trailers ever since and was never disappointed except with the last, it's clear that ActiBli$$ard is not the same anymore.
Every video with Voxy + HS is a win-win. Thank you for uploading on Ytb. :D
Voxy, Would love a video of you showing magic trailers ♥
I'm both a magic fan and a hearthstone fan and BRO, all of the cinematics of these games are the legit PEAK.
P.S. Sarkhan is the type of guy that would never recover from Lady Prestor.
P.P.S. That harmonic "we are the beasts, the monsters fear" still hits as hard as the day I found it.
Reno flexing the sandworms to death is forever going to be the funniest thing blizzard ever put out
Wonderful video as always!
That was a lot of fun, you should totally do more react stuff in the future.
I wonder if scuii is in one of them magic trailers.
I literally cannot name a single Magic card other than Skewie.
Wanna see voxy watch all the sets now and rate the trailer and the mechanic added too
Let voxy know to watch the free pack day cinematic too! Not a trailer but very cute animation
I never saw that magic school dual is so funny and out of mind completely random
and the best thing that it was poorly made as a presentation by kelthuzad himself 💀💀
Great video, surprised that you never did a reaction on stream till now.
Dude ive played since gbg and i forget how many trailers there are xD
love your content vox
Yep, the best of those rank right alongside the Ikoria set trailer. I absolutely love both.
The Sunken City trailer was so good it got me to play HS again after years of not doing so
Witchwood trailer gave me real goosebumps 😬😬
We'll have to watch more clips of what the community was doing. Funny songs too.

UTHER v UTHER - An Animated Hearthstone Song

"No way the Hearthstone trailers are better than the MTG ones"
*IMMEDIATELY proven wrong*
58:28 Rafaams 'Nuh-Uh!" was so ahead of its time.
An Hour well spent watching this, thank you :)
5:38 the timing on that is perfect
Bro the sunken city one got me good, I have actual tears in my eyes jesus christ🥲😭😭
My heart flutters and I get hazy seeing these trailers. Hearthstone has a soul that's just unique
