It isn't uncommon for him to play wild format for hours to pull off a combo that literally crashes the game for both players because of the amount of damage it causes.

...Ohh! I think Ball is screwing up because of AI layering? Say he adds a 10 cost to your hand as a 0 cost. The scepter then triggers SOMEHOW and sets the cost to 5. Hence the graphic is red instead of the usual green.
