I swear by the 1.9 Ruptures. I discovered these by accident. My buddy gave a pair of 2.2 versions to me for my ole Wraith, and I fell in love with them. Ended up finding 2 full 1.9 sets for my Element build and never look back. The best tires out there!!!

Given what you know… which would you choose? Ruptures or trenchers?
Trenchers are legal. Ruptures are not. If that doesn’t matter I’d go with Ruptures as they are a little bit taller

Come to think of it all my tires are “illegal” 😂 losi rock claws, proline flatiron’s 1.9’s and I just ordered some ruptures.

I always do a fat carpet burnout with new tires to scrub them in. I also like to decrease them good before mounting

I wrote to JConcepts on messenger right before Christmas, they are debating making 2.2 size hunks. I love the Hunk tire they are like a tsl pattern but… they are of course JConcepts ! 👍👍 great video as always

What’s your thoughts on Amazon 1.9 wheels?
You must’ve bought up all the 1.9’s they are sold out everywhere. I just placed a order from Amain & I bought 4 but they are back ordered but I’m ok with that. I just purchased the new Capra 4 ws & it’s coming tomorrow. I ordered the raptures for it & metal bead locks & a nice battery pack for it. Then I made the mistake of looking at axles & I came across the Vanquish portals for it they are pretty expensive. Any thoughts or experience with them? I’m super excited to get the new Capra out but I work the next 2 days. Saturday I’ll get it out for some run time & smiles. Thanks for all the great content. I wouldn’t have ordered the Raptures if you didn’t test them.
They look a lot like HB rovers, which I use in 2.2 size. HB sedona 2.2 are killer as well. These 1.9's look to be a bit taller than the 1 9 rover, so that is better for most people IMHO. As always love your videos! You the man!
I was gunna say the same thing! Hpi rovers I ran those for year bought 3sets because I love them but there banned here in my state for comp. But overall amazing tires! I run the 1.9x3.8 and the 1.9x4.19
Yeah I don't run any comps so I'm spoiled lol. 4.7 is about as low as I can stand lol.
I have the 2.2 on my gatekeeper . I think I may have mentioned that . And 1.9s on my carisma rangerover. Awesome tyres

I am debating on getting an Ecto or the Phoenix kit! Joe what do you recommend?
Ecto for simplicity and awesomess, Phoenix for features
Hands down the Ecto. I bought them both this year, the Phoenix was sold before it left my bench, and the Ecto is my most run fun truck I have now. By far my fave release of the year if you want a Vanquish, buy a real one. I own 3 VS4'S. One of each. An origin, an ultra, and a pro.
They were the best, but this Ecto is so light. It just goes up over everything.

not really sure but they look normal, like any other 1.9
