I've had PC cordless tools for several years and never let me down , My sawzall , circular saw and drill and driver never let down . I don't know how you mistreated yours . I highly recommend these tools 👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐. Just got very recently a driver with ( 2 ) 1.5 Ah batteries with small charger ( not the rapid one ) for $59 at Tractor Supply
To date the following have failed. Drill Impact Tiger saw Still working Skill saw Oscillating tool Jigsaw Kinda works. Depending on the day. Finished nailer.
My Milwaukee M12 fuel hackzall gets it done a more quickly but, runs so much cooler and the battery lasts longer despite being only 12 volts. I sawed through 4 feet of 3/4 thick OSB in only 1 minute with an M12 fuel hackzall and a Diablo demo demon blade.
Since I made that video. I’ve burned up 2 of them. I’ve made the switch over to the M12 line and I’m slowly phasing out the P&C tools that I have. I also smoked the angle grinder as well. But I used that thing quite bit and it lasted about 5 years. Replaced that with a M18 unit. Much better.
Just bought one a little while ago to do a little work around the house and it works pretty damn good, knocked out what would've been a couple hours with a hacksaw in about 20 minutes with the porter cable
That’s great. I’ve already lost faith in them, I was using my 20v drill with a 1 1/2” hole saw last weekend It drilled the hole and that was the last thing it did. I’m ready to move onto a new platform.
This is not for demolition its a light weight recip saw good for pruning and doing some small cuts here and there but is so light and for most of of its proper use it great
Not to long after this. It went up in blaze of glory as I was using it for pruning. There’s a video of it’s demise on my channel. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
What irks me is that I had the DeWalt collection in my cart and the Lowe’s tool manager introduced me to the PC brand, knowing they’re both Black and Decker... the saws all now goes fast when it wants but is usually slow. The circ saw has always twisted and screwed up anything it cuts- even with another blade. The jig saw can’t cut straight if my life depended on it, I’ve got the thing at 45* to keep going straight... the drill chuck won’t hold round bits once they bite into something they slip. What junk. That and to top it off it took over a year to come out with a battery bigger than the 1ah which doesn’t last long enough at all. The manager assured me they would have the 4ah battery in a month and it was almost 2 years...
On top of that I now have the newer brushless drill and man, it works great but if the bit bites anything or it’s a larger bit the entire handle flexes. If you have soft hands it will pinch you.
And don’t buy the black batteries. They last half as long as the normal red ones. Kinda like the XC from Milwaukee. All of mine stopped taking charge whereas all my others which are several years older still work just fine

@@StreetersGarage dewalts xr line is pretty good as far as cordless tools, use them at work and never had a minutes trouble with them
Very good informative video, thanks. 😎
Thanks!
Bought one. Pretty much Walmart quality. Very disappointing but crazy cheap as well. Sad how far porter cable has fallen
Yep. I’ve had 3 tools from the collection fail. I’ve already begun the process of moving over to Milwaukee

Yah. Just buy Milwaukee.
Streeters Garage I have all the 12v and 18v Milwaukee now.
I’ve been slowly switching over to the M12 line. No complaints
What company battery did you use. I have a Hyper tough 20v battery. Is that going to work?
