Agreed. Rem actions aren’t held to tight specs. Each barrel is cut to a specific action and may/most likely headspace correctly to another action. Good luck.

Swapped my barrel on my savage 110 243 to a 20” 7mm-08 in my garage ! All you need is barrel nut wrench and headspace go and no go gauges
