Being grateful to God before sleep is also a wonderful way to love life. Because it's the most wonderful and precious gift that we can ever get . ♥️♥️♥️
For those who have trouble reading, I have “floaters” in both my eyes from head trauma so I prefer to listen to the content. I find UA-cam easy to listen to and tons of content. I plug my phone charger in so I can listen all night.
I’m kind of starting that same process. And I think the most important thing is having a “why.” Why do you want to create all these habits? Mine is to better my life, and inspire others and be that example for others to do the same. So having a why is what will help you want to keep going and sticking to it. We have the strength, and discipline, let’s go, this is easy cake. 💪🏽💪🏽 😁
Reading. Stretching and few mins exercise in between. Listening to podcast to learn. Cleaning, organizing. Catch up with a friend outdoor. Meditating and journaling.
I like to do yoga 🧘♀️ before bed , 7:16 2) second I write a gratitude 🙏 list then brush my teeth 3) drink chamomile tea 4 ) take supplements . Or journal
Hi everyone! Thanks for your great tips about maintaining good memory, Dr. Jim. On the other hand, being grateful of God is the very, very good for our spirits; for our lives. So say thanks God every single day and every night as well. Some wise persons have said, ''Being grateful is one of the best medicine for life.''
My mom died from Alzheimer’s. Before I go to bed I pray and thank God for all the blessings I have. I think that might be the same as being grateful for the goodness of the day.
1) I would make sure I get a good sleep. 2) At bed I would go through my day and be grateful too. Although I start my yoga class by being grateful. I feel you should be in a peaceful state of mind before sleep.
Thank you for the video Jim. My husband and I have been asking each other 3 good things every night for the past 8 years before we sleep. It helps you reflect and scan your day to look for positive things, even if small (we don't write it down, just talk about them). We started after hearing about it from Shawn Anchor and it is a simple way to look for positive things in your day and life.
I feel for you, Jim. As my Grandma aged she developed a different form of dementia than Alzheimer's, and I spent over two years living with her as her full-time carer. She was a beautiful soul, as I imagine yours was to you. Regarding the habits I'm going to implement tonight: ceasing work no later than 2 hours before bed, and staying away from screens for the last hour.
I played music before I sleep before but that has a long time thing I normally do. ...now I just get to my bed and before long, I am already asleep. ...I don't joke with my rest or sleep at all...😆😍😍.
I use to while i am studiing or duing some thing do some micro pause, like 10s randomly. and stil do longer breake every 20- 30 minutes. so i have pomodoro technikue, but i add to it some micro pause. because it should help to better proces information.
Look up some herbs you can drink before you go to bed to help you sleep better. You can try Alice suggestion with the tart cherries or look up fruits that help you sleep faster too🙏✨
Thanks Jim. I first say 3 things I’m grateful for with my partner, snuggle him and then perform yoga nidra body scan. I’m going to take your advise and replay my day. This is a yoga nidra practice as well but we go backwards in time vs forwards. So remembering what happened 1/2 hour ago, the 1/2 hour before that, etc and so on. What’s your opinion of going backwards? It also assists in memory strength. Thanks for all you do!
If you think habits are the key to a limitless memory, then you're probably the kind of person who gets excited about a new workout routine or a new diet plan. Get a life... There's more to life than just following a schedule and being predictable. Youre basically saying that the most memorable moments in life are the ones where you brush your teeth every day and go to bed at the same time.
@@hisomeone6612 it's a possibility. Im not sure what Renato is going through. So hopefully when the mind is clear and the person is in a quiet room they will be able to receive the message✨
“You don’t have to wait for a greater life to feel grateful, feel grateful and you’re gonna have a greater life.”

Drink chamomile tea, take magnesium, complete the evening section of The 5 Minute Journal, deep breathing, prayer.
I’m perimenopausal therefore don’t sleep properly but working on sleeping better
I had that issue and once I started regular exercise it really helped PLUS dried tart cherries about an hour before I wanted to fall asleep.
Look up some herbs you can drink before you go to bed to help you sleep better. You can try Alice suggestion with the tart cherries or look up fruits that help you sleep faster too🙏✨
I always feel sleepy
And my sleep patterns 6 hours to 13, 14 hours sometimes, especially during weekends.😢
Could someone please help me with this question please?
If you did nothing productive today, should you journal too?
Guys I want to exercise daily and I'm reading already and sleep well because I don't do that well at the moment

Having a good memory is great but having a great memory is a curse

You might want to listen to the video again. The smallest things can make a big difference 💯
Probably he is just a troll, provoking people on emotions. Addicted energy vampire...
But maybe I'm wrong
