    recap:
    1. Pay attention - 100% focus on what you’re learning or trying to memorize. Register all the things. Turn off notifications and be focused on the things you’re trying to register.
    2. Comprehension - Understand first to make it remember. Do the checkpoints have you understood the information? A very important thing is association information.
    3. Recall - Make sure you can rephrase everything in your own words, and do it a few times. LEARN RECALL RECALL. Do not end your training session without a recall session.
    4. Application - Things you have learned need to be used to be remembered. Do DEEP learning, not shallow learning. Use it! use it! People are info junkies, they put info into their heads but do not understand the information and don’t want to associate it with anything. And that’s why they do forget the information.

    Four habits -
    1. ATTENTION - give 100 % attention which helps you to 'register'
    2. COMPREHENSION - Understanding helps you to 'retention'
    3. RECALL - recall or results
    4. APPLICATION - shallow learning to deep learning

    1. Attention------------------- If you dilute the quality of learning, you will dilute the quality of your results.
    2. Comprehension-------- First undersatnd, then remember.
    3. Recall------------------------ Before you can forget anything, you need to get it in the first place.
    4. Application---------------- It's not about what you learn. It's about what you do with what you learn that makes a difference.

3 R's of memory - Register, Retention, Recall
3 Habits for each of them -
    1. Attention - remove distractions, get comfortable with boredom
    2. Comprehension - ask an expert, associate/relate it with existing knowledge, set certain checkpoints and rephrase/recite
    3. Recall - self test, teaching someone, practice
    4th R' - Results
4th Habit - Application - get out of input zone, output takes time, effort, commitment, discipline, dedication. (use it or lose it)
    Learning => acquiring a skill
    Application => achieving results

Nishant, what a champion you are! This is exemplary teaching at its best. I never did attend a school nor even a tertiary institution that taught me how to pay attention, comprehend, recall and apply my learning! Especially in a safe environment. Every able person needs to listen to this and apply it to their lives. I believe if anyone would take your lesson to heart, they will 10X (or even more) their output in life. Well done, mate! The take aways i learned from this video is
1.ATTENSION : make your input great it maybe leads your output great but if you make your input worst then your output definitely worst......
How to pay attention? :Turn off notifications.
    2.COMPREHENSION: first understand
    Then learn
    How to comprehence like pro
Just link what you need to learn with what you have already learned.☺️
    3.RECALL : after understanding part
    Tou need to recall .
(The best way of recalling is to take a white paper and teach your imaginary frnd what you learned from this video or any book 📚: it's Feynman Teachnic)
"samjhao aise ki 6 saal ka bacha bhi samajh jai"
"If you can't explain it simple it means you don't understand it well enough"~ALBERT EINSTEIN
    4.APPLICATION:
    Apply what you learn
If your input is X then your output should be 2X
Sorry for poor English sir 😅😅😅

Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayatul-Kursi.]

People have been calling me gifted for my whole life because of my memorization skills and now I can confirm it is because I do all of these subconsciously. Before anyone asks I don’t think I would be able to do what he did at the beginning of the video he is actually amazing and that is what made me so curious about his points

    • @nishant.kasibhatla

That's awesome! It may be true that there are some truly gifted people. However, if one use the right techniques and combines it with the right amount of practice, one may very well be called 'gifted' by others who don't know the techniques. As for the numbers, you can do it. Here's a video on how I did that: ua-cam.com/video/IvPdjxhciog/v-deo.html

What i learned from this video
    1. Attention : If you want to register any type of knowledge in your mind , so pay 100% of your attention to understand that knowledge,
    2. Comprehension . If you want to remember any topic , so learn first the deepest level of that topic , cuz if you haven't proper knowledge about that topic , so you can't remember that , so do this ,then the percentage of retention will be increase ,
    3. Recall . Actuall recall is , recall particular topic at the right time ,
4.Result. if you do these things, you will be become successful

    2. comprehension consists of two parts
    i. assosiation ie connecting it to something u already know
ii. checkpoints ie u recall what u learn after certain learning
    3. recall everything u learned by testing yourself on what u learn and to ask yourself that can u actually rephrase what u learnt in your own words

I am absolutely inspired by this seminar. It showed me that the past few years of my life have been mostly shallow learning, due to inputting more than I'm outputting and not being able to devote my attention. Thanks for this amazing session Mr. Kasibhatia. The habits that you mentioned in this lecture are infront of us all the time but no one really pays *attention* to it.
Whatever you taught during this lecture, I tried to simultaneously apply it where I could, like paying 100% attention & understading before trying to remember.
Of course I couldn't test myself during the session but I did apply the first 2 R's to get to the last 2 R's. I was doubtful at first but then I tried recalling the whole lecture after watching it & thanks to these habits I was able to recall almost everything in form of a flow chart.
Again really thankful for this video, really looking forward to more videos from you, especially on how to remember big chunks of information like numbers where one cannot comprehend the random arrangement of the digits.

I am going to start applying this at work, music and anything else I do in my life. And you are 100% right about input addiction. I watch hours worth of motivational or knowledge related videos every day but do not try and recall anything. It is so exhausting and makes me guilty as I know I won’t be able to apply all of it. I have better memory than my family and most people in my school but I have trouble remembering the important things. It’s probably why I only scored just over half on my tests. It was only on German and Maths where I got really high. I’m also a high school student so teachers put a lot of stress on us, and that’s probably why we can’t focus very well.

I can memorise anything fast but my problem is that my brain content or date doesn't retain more than one month. I am depressed. Could you please make a video regarding "Lifetime memory retention"?

Thanks for watching. Do you actively use all the 4 habits I suggested in video? I believe that doing it will really help you tremendously with long term memory. As for “life time memory”, let me see if I can create a video on that. The important this for “super long term” memory is to revisit the information (either directly or via sharing/applying) the info periodically. Hope this helps. Wishing you the best.

All he is saying applies to getting what he is saying in the video, I got distracted with a notification and came back , what if I never came back , what if thé vidéo kept playing and I just continued without going over the part I missed , i have Learnt a lot from this video , you have to pay attention to it, understand what he is saying , recall it and apply it to really have it in memory and be a part of you .❤

Because if you partly pay attention and understand partly , your recall, application and results will be the same

This is brilliant! Your technique of Attention, Comprehension, Recall, and Application is very similar to what Montessori Teachers do with children when presenting new material. First, they introduce the new concept, and then the teacher proceeds with a Three-Period Lesson to check if the child has learned it.
