I havent commented on this channel before but the fact you take out our time to comment on every post is commendable and i appreciate that as it provids a pleasant experience to others as they feel included+answers queries like mine.
So i'm just starting riding scooters, taking delivery of ola s1 pro in a few days as the first vehicle so pretty excited about it, but i had a couple questions that would help me as these are the things i identified that i would need to work on
1: I got my friends scooter to my apartment and got my dad to sit on it, it was a ntorq race edition, and i drove alone for 50kms before getting it here. I was taking speed breakers and humps at around 20-25 kph maybe 30kph sometimes, but my father told that i was taking them too fast, as a driver i coudnt tell as i was at the pivot point and my body was switching but these are amplified for pillion, so could you give me an approximate range of speed i should take on them with/without a pillion or something to judge better.
2: With me alone i was able to take corners well, as i could juts make the scooter lean with my hips and the handle bar also is easier to turn because of the lean angle, but with my father sitting on the back absolutely upright, i wasnt able to take the turn as sharply as i expected, so do i just turn the handlebars more (they dont want to move much till i lean the scooter) or just try to shift the weight and lean the scooter, and if so how to
3: I'll learn things more on the way, as i havent made a habit just yet, but i was finding myself that if im filtering in traffic or have to overtake cars, i was coming ahead of the front wheel, flooring it, making some space and then moving over but not using the rear view mirrors much, so just wanted to know how actively should i be looking at it for example im in city conditions or moving traffic
4: lastly, i genearlly use a mix of brakes, pressing both front and rear, prioritising rear when normal breaking and prioritising front while heavy braking, but one of my friends was telling to only use the front break once you have maxxed out pressing the rear, new vehicles have cbs but it felt counter intuitive so wanted you to shed some light on this
Thanks a lot for taking out your time for reading this big post of mine, love your content and look forward for more :D
1. Personal confidence & practice.
2. Learn counter-steering and it comes naturally by just being aware
3. Always have objects in mirror in peripheral vision
4. Use both brakes judiciously
Bottom line, practice and learn in safe environment with protective gears. Cheers!
@@bigbearbangalore sure! Thanks a lot! Will work on these points. Counter steer was acually not something that i actually gave a thought to with a pillion on board as i felt that its more natural to lean into corners, and if i counter lean, it will be worse from the pillions pov, but thats actually the easier option to do with a pillion. Its easier to get things in order at the start as theres no habit/reflex set up so did that at the start, once again thank you and hope to learn more from you
I like this man!
🙏
Wow, very nice❤👍
Thank you
Thanks for the video bosky! I bo7ght the same color last evening 😅…just a phenomenal bike…will add 2 small xyel lites…. The headl8ght grill makes the light 🔆 perform poorly at night….better still if you do ride in night to remove the grill….love your videos Cheif 👍👍
Nice 👍
Love from Kerala ❤
🙏
Saw you yesterday at the triumph service centre with your scambler ! 😃😃
🙌👍
Hi Bosky and CK just wondering how many bikes both of you have. When you truly love what you do the kind of joy and excitement that shows up on your face nothing can match it.
3 each. 🙏
Lovely!!
🙏
Great Sir..
🙏
Do you feel we can modify the exhaust system to a raised side swept channel, similar to the Triump scrambler elder sibings like Scrambler 900 and Scrambler 1200 ? This considering we have to find the correct height to cover it at , have attachments along the body to hold it and heat shield it, while also avoiding the air box holes on the side. I ask as it would be fun to create a motorcycle similar to the existing big CC variants and still not break the motorcycle . Would love to hear your thoughts of how you would design or go about it ?
Can do it and mwed to be ready to deal with the increased heat!!!
Bosky is very excited😊
🙏
Did you buy the universal fit Bark Busters? I want to put guards on my 400x. The factory will not provide impact protection and are too big! Thanks.
I've installed the one from my Himalayan 411.
His child like Enthusiasm is contagious and good to health 😄
🙏🙂
Bosky is so much excited 😜
🙌
Congrats guru ji❤❤
🙏
Hi Bosky - have been following your videos since Nov 2023 & thoroughly enjoying them. I bought a Scrambler 400x mid Dec 2023. Got back on a bike after 40 years. Loving every bit of it. I too wanted to install bark busters & ram mount mirrors like yours. I'm based in Goa so will have to order online. Could you give me the exact model/specs for the bark busters which would fit the scrambler 400x. Also the ram mount mirrors. TIA. Keep up the good work
Many thanks.
The Barkbusters I removed from my Himalayan 411 and installed here.
RAM Mounts is regular U-bolt, scoket& x-grip mounts.
@@bigbearbangalore thank you for the prompt reply
Nice! What brand of wing mirrors are those? The stems look like DoubleTake but the actual mirrors look much better
RAM mirrors and stems. Doubletake also use RAM stems.
Thanks for showing the accessories. My wife is ordering one and it’s extremely hard to tell what these look like from the Triumph website, they’re practically impossible to see at dealers here in the states. Glad to see the upper and lower guards look quite stout and not ugly. How is the factory seat? Was wanting to pull the trigger on that but the dealer said you’re better off ordering the stock unit and if that doesn’t work you can buy the aftermarket seat and sell the factory one since it’s not discounted as an option when you order the bike.
Pleasure. The stock seat is quite good. I didn't see a need for the touring seat.
Looking to get mirrors for my Himalayan - Can you please suggest how to get the RAM mirrors and ball mounts. You had mentioned you will share them later, but I haven't seen an update and so asking. Thanks!

@@bigbearbangalore Thanks sir, just 1 quirk 😅 I don't have Instagram, is there any number/location?
The lower crash guard can be useful while doing long long touring 😅.. I usually keep my feets over there just to stretch a lil bit
👍
Thank you so much sir, for explaining this much accessories. Please let's us know the rest accessories so that I can also buy them for my Scrab X. 😝😝
Sure I will, soon.
well done
🙏
Hi Bosky.
I ride 160cc unicorn. But I had ridden many higher cc bikes for example 411, 350, 600, not ventured into superbike though.
Now I have a plan of buying a multipurpose bike , be it city commuting or touring. So planning to go with xpulse 2004V 2023 edition, as I have budget constraint too..which is below 2.5L. Please I would need your inputs here on the same.
Good buy! Also look at Honda 200X.
Looks like you’re more excited than “THE Himalayan” 😊
😀
1.Weight comfort while moving bike front and back on stand still: himmy or scram?
2. Vibration at 90-100? Which fls comfortable at this speed for crusing?
3. Would love ve to understand about oil recommendation for these bikes.
4. Wind blast at 100? Bearable any solution for scram!?
Appreciate your inputs on these points!
400X easier to move around. At highway speeds the 450 feels more planted. Better wind protection on the 450. Oils, use company recommended oils for warranty purposes.
Will the after market crash guards with sliders be able to protect the bike and legs better when compared to the triumph's lower crash guard or both will do similar jobs?
I don't have an answer for this. But I use compact OEM guards and don't like the guards with those sliders.
@@bigbearbangalore got it, thank you so much for the prompt response!
@bosky Sir Any plans for changing or removing stock headlights guards for better light throw
Yes was considering it but won't help much. Need to replace the entire assembly with an H4 bulb type. The search is on.
@bosky sir, the mirrors are good. Are they available for hunter 350 too? If yes, where can we get them from?
Universal mirrors. Will share details soon.
@@bigbearbangalore thank you bosky sir
Hey everyone
I am an owner of scrambler 400x in Mysore, India, purchased in Feb 1st week. No doubt it's an amazing motorcycle. But I seem to have a lot of issues with the electronics of it.
Let me explain in a bit of detail hoping that the message reaches the right people in Triumph.
The day I got my first service done, the same evening my motorcycle wouldn't start at all. It was fixed by the service center stating that there was an electrical contact issue with the immobilizer.
Went on a long ride (about 1700 kms) and while on the ride, I had instrument cluster/console issues. Speedometer fluctuations starting happening and it stopped working. Riding at a 120 kmph but speedometer showing Zero :PP
Resulting in stoppage of reading of odometer, mileage (dynamic and average), distance to empty etc. Did not clock almost 700 kms because of this. Meanwhile, front ABS breaking issue had started. Rejection of application of front break. Almost caused an accident because of it.
This was fixed by stating that a bolt in the front wheel was loose and it was overlooked during PDI (pre-delivery inspection)
2 weeks later, engine starting issue (immobilizer related) has started again. No fix found yet. Service center states that it's a software problem...
It's frustrating honestly.
I did comment on one of your instagram video as well. But I'm hoping to let people know about what all can go wrong with the scrambler 400x
🙏
Do share if your issues were sorted
@@Gursimran2009 yes they were sorted. They had to replace the antenna of the immobilizer and paired a new set of keys to it. This solved it.
I have a question. Does the pre installed engine protects the fall? Or the stock lower engine bars required?
I dont like the out market guards how they look. Also back rest seat also not looking in market
It can protect legs and tank. The lower ones are for the engine.
@@bigbearbangalore got it. So i will install lower engine bars
Nice
Thanks
Hello sir ...i just did my firat service too ...loved the accessories that you have fitted ...especially the mirrors they look dope ...are they available in local store or only online
Thanks. They are available from us. Will share more details soon.
Few videos surfacing about the engine stalling issue in 2nd and 3rd gear at lower RPM's.. Do you happen to know anything about it? Appreciate your help in that regard as it's the only thing that's blocking me from booking one.. Thanks.
Yes, random stalling. An ECU software update likely will come soon.
I was also thinking for a crash guard. Glad you mentioned that the triumph one is better. Will get it installed on the 1st service. Do you think the triumph windscreen is good or an after market one?
Once it's available I'll install the short fly screen from Triumph.
@@bigbearbangalore But do you think it is tall enough to divert the wind blast? In videos it looks tiny.
@@srmetallica11it will not help in wind blasts. Just for looks, i installed it a month ago
@@sagarchinchapur9184 damn. not worth spending then.
Many offer PPF in JC road starting from 1000 to 8000. Confused which one needs to be picked and what should be the considerations while choosing.
Could you pls help clarifying
Am not familiar with PPF.
Couple of questions, sir. The Barkbusters are ones for the 390 Adventure, right? And will BMC bring out a performance air filter?
Barkbusters are from the Himalayan 411 and BMC may take more time.
@@bigbearbangalore so for the bark Busters when we order them, the model we should get should be the one compatible with Himmy411 right? Or is it listed as something else?
Check with bigbadbikes.com please. I’ve installed the one from my 411 since I had them already.
@@bigbearbangalore thank you 👍🏼
Hi sir, do you know if the if the welds on the crash guard are hollow or full solid welding?
It’s a pipe and it’s hollow and the weld is a surface weld with a adequate penetration at the joints.
The only thing I want to know is if a Center Stand is possible to fit on this motorcycle. Are there any available official/after market?
I don’t think there’s a provision.
Firstly, congratulation sir 💐 since you have both the bikes HIMALAYA 450 and triumph 450 X. Can you please tell me which is more refined for long rides? (I’m no way interested in off-roading)
Touring = H450
Get those Barkbusters powder coated in black ...looks dope with the black handlebars.. It just cost 500 bucks and can be done in a day.
👍
Bosky always replies to every comment. Love you Bosky :*
🙏
Hi Bosky ……Could u please tell me how much does the RAM mirror set costs along with the ball and socket mounting? Thanks in advance 🙏
Please check with @happyearthmounts on Instagram
Boss, what about the saddle stay and saddles?? I am tired of searching proper, both side soft saddle arrangements which are lockable. What the company offers is one side bag, that is so bloody inadequate! Please guide us regarding this, for Sram 400x. Thanx
I don't plan to install saddle stays or use typical saddlebags. Due to the high exhaust I'll use a U shaped soft bag that I have and a roll bag or tail bag.
That lower engine guard is a must have. Is this accessory only for Scrambler or for Speed 400 also?
I think it's available for both.
Both
Bought this bike almost 2 months ago, but I'm still not getting the any of the accessories from Khivraj Whitefield, They are saying they don't know when it would come
There is a short supply.
Hello bosky, please make more video on this. Eagerly waiting. Please cover topics like how well this bike will age with time. Thanks in advance
Sure! Thanks.
Can you please upload a review video regarding ram mirrors plus mentioned the price and if you can post link of them it will be very helpful

I don't use PPF and haven't used any. So unable to assist.
Thank you sir 👍 also please share riding experience keeping Himalayan 450 as reference
Will do soon
Where can one procure the mirrors from? Looks elegant.
From us. Will share details soon.
Waiting for upgrading front wheel to 21 and front suspension travel to 200mm. As you have done with Interceptor
Not likely to do that.
@@bigbearbangalore makes sense as you already have Adv in the form of Himalayan 450
Does 400x has a quickshifter? In their website it is mentioned "torque-assist clutch".
QS is not standard. Torque assist clutch is likely slipper clutch.
How did you installed those hand guards please make a video
Noted
Can you please specify what model of barkbusters it is. Also the model, link for the rear view mirrors
Check with Happy Earth Mounts Bangalore foe the mirrors. And with Big Bad Bikes for the barkbusters.
@@bigbearbangalore thank you
I've one question sir, RE recomends Semi Synthetic for the H-450, but can I switch to fully synthetic? For the longevity of engine, or its's not recommended?
Semi ia good enough and fully is better. Yes you can switch anytime but using a oil other than recommended by RE may affect warranty.
@@bigbearbangalorethanks 👍 for the info
Hello sir I always see your videos.
I am owning Honda CB 350 and have completed 22kms. I am facing a wobbling issues. I have visited plenty of times Bigwing showrooms. Can say any solution for it from your experience in the motorcycle field
Yes some CB350s face this chronic issue. Something is going wrong on them randomly. Tyre, wheel balance, cone set etc are to blame. Fixing it only by trial and error.
Neat hat collection you got! Care to share store details if bought online?
Hatstore.com
What could be the reason for a leaking carburettor on RE Classic? Tried cleaning the filter, the carb etc. The issue persists.
Can't say wirhout inspection. Can be anything.
@Bosky sir, I want to have a long rides with pillion rider Which one I have to prefer Himalayan or Scrambler?
Himalayan
Continental gt is my dream bike and it's just not practical enough for me now 😞
So I m considering scram 450 now
I might drive mostly on road
like 70 percent of the time and 30 percent off road, i found scram 450 more practical
Can you please tell me it's pros and cons ( make a video on it ) / should I even wait for it or buy the new Himalayan 450 ?
I m 6 ft talk
When the Scram 450 is here we'll check on it and share.
I like the tshirt & the cap sir, any details of the brand or store you got them from?😊❣️
Cap from the Triumph dealership and tees f4om a sports store.

I also own a scrambler, i think the bike needs a tire hugger. Any suggestions on that?
Personal preference.
HI, that knee guard looks great, where did you buy this from?
Knee pads on tank comes with the motorcycle.
Oh sorry, i mean knuckle guard. My mistake😊@bigbearbangalore

I thought you were planning to buy the himalayan? Did you buy both the Scrambler AND the 450 Himalayan?
Bought both!
@@bigbearbangalore hahaha …. Awesome and congratulations. Look forward to your ownership experience on both of them from a comparo perspective as well. I went for the scrambler since I had more of a city oriented outlook and it’ll always tag team with a litre class ADV in as my primary touring bike.
Hi bosky how this is performing as compared to Himalaya 450? Better for city and highways?
Hard to compare. This is better in the city.
Congrats on the bike. Surely the comparison video with Himalayan is coming up.
Also, we have noticed a clutch issue with many many bikes, where we hold the clutch for downshifting and the bike stops. And of course, the fuel guage issue. Are you facing anything. Plz suggest a possible solution.
Thanks. Comparison coming up.
Yes there is a random stalling issue at low speeds. Waiting for a solution from Triumph.
Sir can you suggest a good top box other than triumph's which can be mounted to the triumph luggage rack of scrambler 400x?
Plenty of options. Online search can help. I don't use topcases so don't know of any specific one.
@@bigbearbangalore thank you sir.

Hi Sir
I have ordered Scram 400X
How you feel about putting bar end mirrors for Scram 400X?
I am thinking of putting. As the hand guards are disturbing my hands and lever operations. Do you know about whether the Official accessories bar end mirrors we can put? Or pls suggest a good bar end mirrors or pl share the link of the hand guard you have put in in your bike
Am not fond of bar end mirrors. They don't provide me the vision I want.
@@bigbearbangalorei understand Sir. I will not put bar end mirrors then. Following the expert view 😀
@@bigbearbangalore
Thanking you Sir. Just for your knowledge sharing with others like me sir. The triumph dealers told me that Scram handle bars dont have provision to add speed’s bar end mirrors from official accessories costing 7.5K. So was thinking of other accessories. I am 99% use in city rides and I went for Scram due to my heavy set weight the speed looked small when i sat for test ride. The extra GC in scram 400x will help in not scrapping the bottom. Which am facing currently in FZ25. Sure Boskey sir will keep your advice in mind and not remove hand guards for time being. Will give 3months in stock before I check the hand guard you are using in your Scram as per your advice ☺️👍🏽 cheers and keep up the gr8 work you do sir.
Is there a centre stand available as an accessory for this bike?
Nope
