The way they describe forgetting they even took datura, then suddenly remembering and forgetting again, sounds like datura literally makes you experience dementia. That's scary as shit.

There’s a purpose, but that purpose isn’t “fun”. Don’t get me wrong, it could possibly get fun.. but the thing that’s capable of reaching that point isn’t the same human being that too the drug in the first place.
To put it in into perspective, native North America Indian death shamans use it in ritualistic poisoning ceremonies (because it releases the same chemicals that are released into your system when you die). Not for amateurs in any way, shape, or form.

Remember, datura isn’t a psychedelic. It’s what’s known as a deliriant. Its a class of psychoactive substances that can have permanent effects on the brain, and the effects you do experience are likened to delirium. Unlike psychedelics, deliriants are usually dangerous

I learned about Datura from Nexpo's video about FlippnFlopp, a Reddit user who tried out a dangerous level of Datura and left everyone hanging after stating that they have taken it. FlippnFlopp's last comment was on a TABS post about two mammoths fighting that suggests that FlippnFlopp was still under the effects of Datura, and after that, there was no further trace of the user online, suggesting that FlippnFlopp was either dead or survived, but abandoned all internet accounts. To this day, nobody really knows FlippnFlopp's fate.

The thing about Datura is it’s very very poisonous before it frost’s on it and just very poisonous after and it’s hard to tell what strength/dosage you are getting-I studied up on it back in the late 1970’s and the trip/experience has more than one stage and depending can last for days --and then you got the flashback thingies -not to mention who you encounter on your journey or where you go 🤔😔🤞🙏❤️

Hope everyone’s dreams get better.

A friend of mine was hitchhiking and got picked up by an older guy. The guy was going back to his home, and my friend was wanting to travel further, but it was getting late. The guy offered to put my friend up for the night. My friend is bisexual and sort of thought the guy might want to get with him, and my friend was up for that for the sake of a place to stay. Anyway, the guy asked my friend if he liked to trip. My friend replied that he did, and the guy handed him a cup with warm liquid in it. My friend assumed it was a magic mushroom brew, and it was only after drinking it that the guy told him it was datura. After a while my friend started tripping pretty hard. He was looking around the room and realised that there were many framed photographs, all showing the older guy with different young boys. My friend came to the conclusion (whether legitimate or drug-induced delusion I have no idea) that this guy was a pedophile and noped out of there. My friend came round a day or two later under a bush hundreds of miles away. The distance he had travelled was much, much further than he could have got on foot. Even if he had hitchhiked while out of it on the datura, the distance and location was unlikely, and he had no memory of doing so. What he _did_ have memories of, however, was being a crow and flying over the countryside. He had vivid memories of certain landmarks, and when he later looked at a map of the area between the older guy's house and the place he woke up he found the same landmarks that he had viewed from above.
tl/dr - datura turned my friend into a crow

A friend's brother took some back in the 80's when we were in high school.
He ended up in the psych wing of the main hospital for a week.
Apparently he had been found by the police in a graveyard digging at the graves with his hands, when asked what he was doing, he informed them digging for worms to go fishing. They took him to the hospital where he could not talk the the medical psych because of the giant toad talking to him from the corner of the room. Needless to say, that pretty much sealed his fate for the week.
They were very nice to him, kept him calm during the trip, sedated when necessary, and actually a fair bit after. He only tripped for around 24 hrs, but was held in for observation. He was bored and of course, no internet back then.

I've smoked a tiny bit of a Datura's dried leaf mixed in tobacco and felt the effects right off the bat. Nothing crazy, but I felt some instant dissociation, heaviness, weak legs and this weird feeling that I lost a little bit of control over myself and the way I perceive the things around me. After an hour I started feeling more energetic and even loving. I texted my girlfriend and talked to her for the rest of the night having a fun, chill time. Pupils were also dilated and frequently changing size.
I don't plan on ever trying a larger dose than this. It's not a state of mind you want to play with, Datura is a very tricky plant and it is indeed capable of killing you.

blacked out from mid day at the school cafeteria to 4am woke up at the hospital with no idea what happened
i was a zombie in front of the whole school, and duked it out full feral mode with the supervisors hitting them with my coat (friends told me later)
i didn't know or remember anything like when u sleep and wake up and you feel like something happened but all you remember is a void that passed quickly, but you're aware of the void, kinda hard to explain, i imagine going into a coma feels the same
i had crazy delusions in the hospital when i woke up, like the window became a door, I imagined a crowd of people in my room that stole my imaginary phone and so there was a huge roadblock and police to stop the imaginary thieves, people above me spitting on me, and more delusional shit

10/10 wouldn't do it again, worse than x80 salvia concentrate cause it actually almost killed me

i took a high dose of PE6 shrooms while my whole family was asleep. it was my first time taking shrooms as well and i was stupid enough to not measure how much i took. needless to say, it was way too much for my first time along with that specific species of shrooms being VERY potent. it took a while for me to realize that i was tripping but when i did, it hit me like a truck at full speed. i was instantly launched into a panic attack while seeing crazy visuals and i felt like the floor was swallowing me whole. my face felt like it was slowly melting off and my body felt like it was being stretched and pulled apart. i remember my muscles couldn’t stop twitching and the geometry i saw was haunting. i also saw a huge figure who was speaking to me but i was too worried about not throwing up to care. i was also extremely paranoid about my parents finding out so i had thoughts of jumping out of my two story level bedroom window thinking that if i ran away they would never find out. i opened my window to look outside and saw the stars as little eye balls watching me. i remember laying back down on my bed thinking those stars were the eyes of God and that he was watching me from my mind and punishing me for taking shrooms. the come down was nice since i finally felt like i was myself again. i remember listening to music while still tripping a bit and saw the walls swirling and the saturated lights but i didn’t pay much attention to that. oh i forgot to mention i had almost wet the bed during the trip haha. but even a week after (present day) i’ve been feeling a bit iffy about taking psychedelics again. i smoked a bit of weed yesterday and felt like i was in that bad shroom trip all over again and started panicking a bit but i calmed myself down this time. i think it might be some form of ptsd from the bad trip but i don’t wanna self diagnose anything. anyways that’s my story with psychedelics have a nice day and don’t wet the bed while taking psychedelics !

So what I think is scariest about this is:
    1. The trip can last for days.
    2. These people remember everything that they did while under the influence, in comparison to substances such as alcohol. Not that drinking until you forget things is safe (it's not,) but things get a little blurry when you start getting very intoxicated. With this, these people are full on delirious and remember all the terrifying shit that happened to them forever. (And sometimes are in contact with the "voices" that started during their trips.)
    3. It's not even pleasurable enough to be habit forming. Again, habits are a big problem of their own, but doing this stuff one time can fuck you up tremendously forever.
The risk greatly outweighs the reward here.

Me and two other friends were going to boil the flowers and drink a tea, my friends changed their minds and I drank two large glasses of tea. First I felt sick and began speaking in tongues. Then my equilibrium was shot and I couldn't walk but on all fours. For some reason I went to the kitchen sink filled my hands with Palmolive dish soap and smeared it down my face filling my mouth with the liquid soup, it was so gross, I was spitting bubbles all night. I ended up taking a shower, I remember vividly being in the shower and was literally bouncing of every wall in the shower, even recall hearing the clanking from bouncing off the loose sliding shower doors, I had to lay down in the shower and was just getting rained on. Not till ten years later when I told the story in front of the friend who's apartment I was at stopped me and said I never took a shower, said I turned it on and sat on the living room floor. It was a genuine out of body experience. Then I remember needing to keep my eyes closed because open I saw too much but could see perfect with my eyes closed. I was having conversations with people that weren't there. I had hallucinations for about 7 days, it was most intense hallucinagenic I've ever taken. I wouldn't recommend anyone taking it but I'm glad I did, wouldn't do it again though, it was truly insane!

I had a legitimately haunting experience on this plant with a Sadhu in Nepal 15 years ago. One of the most intense "bad trips" I've ever had, Shiva The Destroyer was the host. I have a burn scar as a permanent souvenir. I lived though which tbh is lucky because I've come to find out recently that travelers have gone missing in the area, which makes me wonder if the baba that I worked with lost some people during similar ceremonies. I've never written out the experience in detail... maybe one of these days.

I’m very interested to hear your experience! Specifically with Shiva.
I (think) I have met Shiva once before, when I needed help solving an existential crisis involving the nature of nothingness, and I had to fully and rapidly internalize the bright side of it. I was so focused on the bad part that the good part was lost, and it almost burned me alive - so I asked for help. After being called out for playing psychological games, I had my ego utterly dissolved and only when the border between myself and existence faded did the answers find their way to me. Never felt that feeling before or since - the dissolution of this burning terror in my body giving way to utter bliss. I was almost entirely sober and had no psychotic symptoms surrounding that moment in time. It felt like meeting someone I had seen before, an old mentor or friend. The spiritual language I speak is primarily in love and the joy of existence.
If your experience was anything like mine I would love to know. If it was nothing like mine I would still like to know. More than anything else i would love to know how it changed you. Did you grow from it? Or does it seem to keep bringing you down?

Know of 3 different people that had bad trips on datura. 1 guy left us for 8 hours and 1 of our friends brothers found him under a tree talking to himself. The next day he swears we were with him the whole day and when the brother found him he was talking to us. Another guy absolutely lost the plot his dad had to come and get him before he killed himself he was going to jump off a 35 meter waterfall people literally had to hold him down until his dad was called and came and got him and another was a young girl 14 ish who was found naked and walking the streets by police never knew her personally but the first 2 were school friends. This plant grows wild in NZ and I've seen it grown in people's gardens 😆 Im not sure they even know what type of plant it is.

Sounds like an extremely strong deliriant. I had an experience with a deliriant once and it was horrible. I almost set my house on fire and spent 4 days in hospital while the doctors tried to figure out what I had taken. I won't mention the drug here as I don't want anyone hearing it and then wanting to try it for themselves. The trip sounded quite similar to what was described in this video. Old acquaintances and random animals appearing and disappearing, nonsensical actions and speech. Vivid hallucinations, but not psychedelic in their nature like you'd associate with DMT or LSD. Time would skip frequently too, so I would find myself suddenly somewhere completely different and not know how or why I was there. After that trip I stopped doing any drugs completely, it was years before I even smoked a joint again. Even now I rarely smoke, maybe if I meet an old friend, and it's been about 15 years since that trip.

Not Datura but one time 2 friends and myself took 3 hits of acid. One friend and myself handled it ok but the chick started flipping her shit. She tried to snap her Yorkie in half backwards and I had to hide all the silverware from her.
We had 2 other sober babysitter friends with us and by the end we were thinking about handcuffing her to the toilet and leaving a note explaining to her boyfriend where the key was.
She went mute for like 3 days after that. Such a bad experience that I never did acid again.

Believe it or not I had a crazy experience huffing rubber cement when I was a kid and it was stronger than any lsd, mushrooms or even the dmt I did. It put me into another world and eventually I got sucked or stitched like a needle and thread into the fabric of time and space. It was the most intense experience and I've done a lot of different substances.
