He is magical. I love this song and I love his voice. Also, fifty years ago he wore a fabulous yellow shirt in a performance of this song. It had billowy sleeves and looked medieval. I have thought of that shirt many times over the years wondering if he kept it all these years. Silly stuff, but that's what rock and roll does. It makes you happy and nostalgic.
And don’t forget, fellow fans, the U.S. Copyright Act of 1976 will restore Mr. Hayward’s copyrights to this song and all of his other masterworks. The fanbase got the Moodies the R&R Hall of Fame Induction. The next big push should be to help him “clawback” those copyrights.
Pitiful, some guys never no whento hang it up. Just like the Stones Neil Young, etc etc. When are people going to realize these guys are future days past.
