thom's voice sounds like an echo or a ghost, but in the most heartbreakingly beautiful way possible

I think it's out of neccesity. A lot of artists have to create their art in order to even stay sane.
@@sjoerd.2004 yeah well I think Damon albarn seems similar in that way. He’s always doing something whether it’s blur, gorillaz or one of the various other side projects he always seems to have going on.
I’m glad Thom is like that though, it’s great for all of us! He seems to put out more and more music as he gets older.

Radiohead is my favourite band but I have to say that my experience is that I rarely like their music and Thom's when I listen the first time around.
But they grow on me with a complex and extensive array of emotions.

For those of us who have been in that spot, we know that there is a brief moment when you don't want to let go after all. Sometimes you stay together and things come out either beutifully or sadly, but often it's more important to know when to let go in time. Who knows, it may not be irreversible. Mr. Yorke has faced leaving in the worst possible way imaginable, so I feel that there couldn't be better interpreter for these kind of feelings.
