    I bet it’s ice cold after about 2-3 minutes with all that cold air pumping through the water . Even on a hot summer day mine drops to 90 in just a few minutes

      I’ve noticed that the temperature isn’t as accurate when you use the blower i think it cools inside the unit near the sensor. Because when I turn the bubbles off the temp will rise back up. How ever I can make it much longer than 2-3 minutes in the cold with the bubbles. But yes it does reduce the temperature quicker.

    Considering getting one of these. Are the jets loud ? And how much did it affect the electric. Trying to cover all my bases

      I enjoy mine, are the jets loud.. yeah it can be hard to hear your tub partner talking if they’re running. It affects the electric bill I estimate mine increased by 60- 90$ a month depending on factors I supposed. Our electric company may have higher or differing rates than yours does.

    How long does it stay hot while running the bubbles? Especially in the cold weather

    • @michigantreetops
      @michigantreetops  3 місяці тому +1

      If you ran bubbles the entire time… I’m not sure, probably would be 98F after 15-20 mins. That’s an estimate. I mostly soak it’s hard to hear over the bubbles also

      @alexballar 3 місяці тому

      @michigantreetops if just soaking with the top off, how long does it hold temp?

    • @michigantreetops
      @michigantreetops  3 місяці тому +3

      @@alexballar it will stay warm for 40 -60 minutes at least there were some nights this winter I was out there for over and hour and a half… on those nights it was likely 97°F when I got out. I honestly don’t mind getting out at that temperature it feels nice going inside and not being overheated.

      How do you feel about been in the hot tub often as a man? I heard and read that it can be harmful for men to have children if they go in the hot tub often for long periods of time

    does the heating work all the time and approximately what consumption does it give?

    • @michigantreetops
      @michigantreetops  2 місяці тому +1

      I have the heat icon on all them time for the tub, I don’t know the exact consumption I estimate it has added $60-80 a month additional to my electric bill.

      Another question that I have is does the heating element turn off and on automatically depending on the water temperature

    • @michigantreetops
      @michigantreetops  2 місяці тому +1

      @@Dire-Wolf-HV I would believe that’s how it works but I’m not positive, the heat icon “flames” will turn green when the set temp is reached, it will be red well heating to the set temp. I do not know the technicals if it actually turns the heating off or what it does.

    If the power runs out I'm guessing a few hours and pump and tubes start freezing..

    • @michigantreetops
      @michigantreetops  2 місяці тому +1

      Your guess is as good as mine, but I’ve never had an incident like that in the last two winters. Maybe I could do a video on how long it retains heat. Before 35°. I think it holds heat quite well but I’ve never tested it.

      @@michigantreetops unless somehow you insulate the pump so that the heat from the tub keeps the pump and pipes from freezing,..

    • @michigantreetops
      @michigantreetops  2 місяці тому

      @@crazydan777887 right, I do insulate my exposed pipe from tub to pump with pipe wrap, I’ve seen products for insulating the entire pump/heat unit. But you gave me a good idea to test it out and see how long it truly holds temp thank you. The trick is to be prepared for an outage and have a generator (large enough) on hand if you’re prone to getting outages
