    adding hard foam to your cover helped the most for me keeping it warm.

      I've heard this helps. Might have to try this in the future and make a video about it.

    My plan was to use an inflatable hot tub in a garage during the fall & winter months so your advice & tips were perfect 'need to know' points for me.

    I have an intex spa inflatable spa with about 5-8 inches of snow expected tomorrow . Should I drain it or anything ? Or will it be able to withstand it ?

      You’re probably fine, less about snow and more about temperature.

    If properly insulated, and in an enclosed gazebo, can it still be effective in minus 20 Celsius?

      That’s pretty cold. I’m going to say probably not :/

      We did for sure! There are lots of places that cool off in the evenings.Think desert climates. Or think of northern states were it is cooler throughout the year in general.

    Turing off an inflatable hot tub off in winter with water is not a good idea correct? Have to drain it.

    • @TubTalkReviews
      @TubTalkReviews  10 місяців тому

      Yes, you’ll want to drain it and store it if you’re not going to use it. We’d recommend if you’re gonna keep it running to have it in an insulated environment. We keep ours running and in the garage during the winter, and it has worked out very well.

      @@TubTalkReviews oh I thought you left your hot tub outside? I live here in Idaho and hoping it would be ok to leave outside in winter?

    • @TubTalkReviews

      We do most the year, but keep it in the garage during the winter. Though it would likely be fine, if the hot tub turned off because say the filter was dirty water could freeze in the pipes (error codes shut it off). I wouldn’t store it outside much below freezing.
