- This spring started off well for the birds. In late May, a snowstorm struck the country, resulting in terrible consequences for the birds. We've been photographing birds and wildlife for the past few weeks, and this video showcases our photography experience so far in Grímsey and at Lake Mývatn.

Glad your back with new videos love watching your video channel
I was at Myvatn when the storms hit at start of June. (annual pilgrimage). Hit the birdlife really hard. Only just managed to get back to Akureyri by road and onto Grimsey (rough crossing!). One week later I was on Myvatn lake shore at midnight in a t-shirt watching the sun go down....... That's Iceland! Crazy weather!
Are these local shorebirds ? I am sure that birds should know when winter is arriving and are preparing for migrations.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful pictures and video. Birds in Island are fascinating. I would love to come once again. cheers from Germany.
I love the guillemot images at 6:50 and 7:00.
Brilliant footage and frames , fantastic work guys thank you for sharing.
Beautiful images crisp and clear, love your videos.
Thank you so much 😀
What mocrophone would uou reccomend for recording wildlife sounds straight to camera. Sennheiser mke600, Sennheiser me66, RØDE videomic pro+ or the Shure lenshopper
Lovely video . Greetings from Norway .
Eru einhverjar upplýsingar um hvernig tókst til með varp fugla í vor/sumar?
Thank you for this amazing video. I left on 1st June and may have seen you photographing grebes and phalaropes on Stakhólstjörn. Sorry to hear the weather turned bad, I felt for the Red-necked Phalaropes that arrived early and struggled to feed, hoping they recover and raise their broods.
DELICIA DE CHOCOLATE...HUMMMM
Congratulations ! Great pictures
Wonderful video. Beautiful location and no shortage of subjects to photograph.
Have the birds stayed on Grimsey Island after the storm? We will arrive there in 1 1/2 weeks and hope to see them.
Group trip? From where?
The seabirds are fine in Grímsey. You will have a good time.
Thank you very much. We are going privately and staying for 3 nights. This is part of our 2 1/2 week trip.
Our trip is completed. 1;000s of puffins and many other species were thriving on Grímsey. We stayed 3 nights and would have loved more time. Thank you or your excellent videos. I enjoyed buying your Grimsy book in the gift shop.
What a treat the sequence is from 6:40 to 7:15! Spectacular portraits. You two are such masters.
Thank you Dan, and good to hear from you. Best wishes from Iceland.
