These videos must take a whole lot of time and effort to compile. Thanks for taking the trouble, this is such a deep dive into the work of Haas who is one of the true greats and probably my favourite photographer of all time. Time well spent watching, many thanks.
Thanks so much for putting this together! This is nothing short of amazing. Absolutely stunning imaginery. Ernst Haas was truly an extraordinary photographer, and definitely my favorite photographer of all time. What a treat, and so inspirational.
It is so lovely like a song of Life in Light. I consider my TLR's my M's and the others , Little Thieves of " Light and Moments " ... Yes. Beautiful session this is. Treasure.
This is so inspiring , deep and beautiful. I am a Pro Photographer who can use much improvement in flash photography , but here in the Light , and texture shadow movement , in the warmth of a huge city or the expanse of the South West US , in Tibet , in Old Europe , and deeply in again Light and nature , the capture of the moment , even if waiting for that Street composition ... Ernst Haas shows us his beautiful touch , vision and love , the love of light of life of all of it. This is so deeply inspiring to me. Thank You Sir. 🙏🏻 an American . 🇺🇸
What a treat - a meditation, Eye Candy - every possible depth, breadth and skill that a photographer with an inner eye and a large heart can create this meditative journey. Thank you for an hour long stress relief and a joyful experience. Anyone who aspires to become a photographic artist must watch this.
I’m extremely grateful for this video, thanks so much. 🙏 Haas is my favorite photographer and I’ve never seen so many of his images in one place like this. I’m surprised at how many nature & wildlife shots he took; I was mostly familiar with his street work. This was a real treat, thank you!
An amazing journey into the magical world around us. Thanks to the poet of color and abstract forms. Starting with post-war Europe and ending with "The Creation of the World". After looking at yourself, you become different, and you carry harmony and peace in your heart. Thank you very much for this opportunity!
Quel travail !
SILENT NIGHT ...how fitting deep personal , as we see the Life of this World ...we are given to cherish and love , to share. Beautiful Sir ... I thank you . Thank You 🙏🏻 ♥
From the work of Ernst Haas displayed in this video, I think he is the closest photographer I could understand. If I was fortunate enough to be at the same places he's been, I would probably be able to see what he saw. Whoever is working on & managing this channel, thank you.
One thing I like about his photos is that he includes people. I was a video there were no people. It was rather bland, photos anyone could take. I did a stint in photojournalism in the military and the primary subject, besides military aircraft, were the people. Catching them at the right moment is priceless. It tells us to halt and look longer at a photo.
As an artist I found this video gallery very relaxing to experience. The musical accompaniment provokes a reflective or contemplative mood.. Ernst Haas created some stunning images.
I hear ya…Sadly not a chance in hell, that Kodak (or what’s left) will ever entertain that notion. While I was a committed K64 and K25 shooter, but by the late 80s, the labs that were processing K14 films were shutting down and the wait times were unbearable. I switched to Fujichrome in 1990 when Velvia (50) was introduced. I occasionally will dust off an old F1 from my newspaper days and pop in a roll of Velvia just to stay sharp, honestly as much as I love mirrorless digital (Fuji shooter), it is just too easy, I need that challenge that only slide film can give. Ernst, Harry, Fred and Alex were all major influences in my photographic journey.
Unfortunately the solitude of the experience was interrupted by background noise of some kind throughout a large portion of the latter half of the video.
Changed of style his whole career, sometimes copying others, ended up with no style at all. His pure landscapes plants and flowers are so generic, definitely not inspiring
He was a seeker, always experimenting. He could’ve continued to take the same perfect pictures but it probably bored him. Yes, not all of them are memorable but some of them are stunning. The photo of the anemone in the rain with one of its petals twisted is a masterpiece. Have you taken even five photographs everyone will remember? I’m quite sure I haven’t.

Great work! Thank you very much.
Thank you for your time, passion, and sensitivity ❤❤
My favorite photographer. He could photograph anything and was adept at both black and white and color. Unmatched eye.
This is the most inspirational photography video I've ever seen. Nothing but gratitude for your effort to put this together.
I have to agree. The wide spectrum of his work is breath-taking. It seems there's no genre in which he wasn't an expert. Glad to have seen this.
a painter in a hurry and one of the best in b&w and color ever and forever. helped make photography a serious art form

Absolute overload. I can't anymore. Timing, framing, depth of field, tints, spot metering, so much soul. What an awake guy. Incredible.
A tremendous body of work and a real visual treat. Excellent!
What an incredible body of work. Thanks for this video.
Really excellent compilation. I’m going to have to look for an Ernst Haas book now.
Ernest Haas, Karsh, and Ansel Adams,, inspired me to study photography at the University, Masters of Photography and their creativity.
Thanks deeply for putting this together. 🙏🏽

Just amazing. Reminds me of Fan Ho with a slightly different eye for composition. These are the things that motivate me to explore this craft.

Haas a true artist! You have his name misspelled
fixed, sorry... and thanks for the feedback!
Ernst Haas: More talent in one photo than 1000s of current "street photographers".
Que maravilla de video...
Great Photographer !
Bring Kodachrome back. Digital and E100 can’t cut it.

Who exactly did he copy? Lol

As original as an artist could be. I would think others might be compared to him.
His late work is definitely dissapointing :/
Yes, and Mike Tyson was a real softy in the ring. Changing styles is good. Haas was versatile.
Incredible
