CASCADE PASS TRAIL NORTH CASCADES NATIONAL PARK

- Опубліковано 21 жов 2022
- On this hiking adventure, I am doing one of the most popular trails at North Cascades National Park in Washington! The Cascade Pass Trail is labeled as moderate at 6.7-miles round-trip and 1,784 ft of elevation gain. In the beginning, you do have a lot of switchbacks to climb, but luckily, the forest is very green, lush, and beautiful on the way up. Once you do go past the treeline, the views are vast and absolutely gorgeous! You will see beautiful mountains surrounding you, and you feel like you're up in the clouds cause you're so high up! This is a really excellent trail to do when visiting North Cascades National Park.

When I went there I was blown away by the parking lot
What blew you away about the parking lot??
My family and I are visiting the Cascades next month. We can't wait to experience this for ourselves. A beautiful video:)
Thank you so much! I am glad you enjoyed it! You are going to totally love it there and be blown away by the beauty of this national park! Have fun!
If there are people around and a bear threatens, run! You can't outrun the bear, but you probably can outrun the slowest person :)
Well you definitely have a good point there lol . I don't know if you heard the story recently about the 2 teenage wrestlers that went at it with a Bear and survived! I'm always bear aware when I'm hiking but I hope to God I never see one on the trail with. Good hearing from you my friend and thanks for checking out another video of mine.
The views here could be in any movie or on any calendar. Stunning!!
Yeah totally was a beautiful hike! It was such a blessing to have gorgeous clear weather as well on this day. Much appreciated brother thanks for watching!
W❤️W! Stunning! Truly Incredible And Exciting Adventure! Cheers!🥂❤️✨
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
This is one of my top five favorite hikes! We did this in late summer 2019, and it was just amazing!
Yeah, it's a gorgeous hike even though those switchbacks go on forever, lol. I got so lucky with the weather, too, and how clear it was. I will definitely return to North Cascades National Park in the future! I really appreciate you watching a bunch of my videos just now! That really helps my channel out a lot. 😁
Gorgeous Shots. Didn’t realize how much I had missed.
Thank you! Yeah I've been averaging about one video a week.
Beautiful! I love that trail
Yes it's a really good one! Thanks for watching!
Not that was simply magnificent. Those mountains are just plan beautiful.
Thank you so much Lance! It was a totally beautiful experience! Much appreciated brother 🙏.
You were SO CLOSE!! If you were to continue up Sahali (sa HAL Lee) Arm ( Ridge) you would have seen MUCH MORE AND GROWING SCENERY!!!
Yeah, I regret it now definitely!
Hi, Eric.
My original comment disappeared, so I would drop off a brief comment.😥
I would like to clarify that you will be hiking in WA, not crossing the Canadian border.
"Bear" we must be cautious and takes seriously.
Yes, wow...snow-covered mountains are there. 4:11, 5:00,
It remind me of my kayaking seeing Mt. Baker in Seattle. Breathtaking. Ta-ta. Well done.
Yes I was totally hiking in Washington and not crossing the Canadian border. Yes there was still a little tiny bit of snow left but nothing was on the trail itself. Thank you so much for checking out this video and I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
@@adventuringoutdoorswitheric I shall explore your vids to find out where I can kayak. Thank you.
Beautiful hike! The North Cascades are such a spectacular place and it looks like you had some very nice weather. Thanks for the video, Eric! ~ Mike
Hey Mike! It was my 1st trip to North Cascades National Park and I promise you won't be the last. This hike was pretty amazing! I was totally blessed with beautiful weather unlike unlike my planned trip to North Rim of the Grand Canyon lol 😆. Thanks for checking this out brother!
Lots of switchbacks, but WOW! those views Eric!👍👍
Yeah this switchback situation was pretty insane lol. But luckily it was totally worth it as you could see! Thanks 👍
Gorgeous views!!
Yes, they truly were! Thanks for watching!
Very cool hike. Lots of vertical doing Washington state hikes
Yeah you're definitely right about Washington State hiking! Lots of elevation gain! It's totally worth it because the hikes here are so beautiful. Thank you so much my friend for checking out this video!
Amazing views and looked a real nice trail to follow, not that keen on the bears about mind - yikkes! When you got away from the switchbacks and out of the tress, the views were stupendous but if you were going the same way back.....Good to see you still getting out and still getting great weather too, cheers Alan
Yeah it was a really beautiful hike and thankfully no teddy bear encounters! Once I got passed all those damn switchbacks the views were like a postcard! Thanks for watching Alan! Very much appreciated brother 🙏.
that was a cool hike up to the tree line, from the 5 min mark the views of the mountains and valleys unbelievable you did excellent filming, the colors were amazing, take care brother until the next adventure
Yeah it's pretty crazy how much it changes once I finally went past the tree line! It was like a postcard the rest of the hike lol. The great weather was definitely a blessing for me on this trip. Thank you so much Craig I do really appreciate it! 🙏

I felt for you having to do all those switchbacks 😂 I think I counted 38 total one way. Quite the hike bit so worth it. Yep lots of bears. You were absolutely lucky with the weather for sure
Wow 38 switchbacks! I totally believe it! I didn't see any bears myself which is good and bad I guess lol. Probably more good than bad 😅. Thanks for watching Nicole!
