After losing my mother to septic shock unexpectedly, I've lived in the darkness without direction. Can't put one foot in front of the other daily,but have to fake it all the time. I pray to see the light but haven't found it yet.This song was always one of my favorites before losing her,but now I can't listen to it without crying. I met Larry in person in 2017 and he took the time to pray with me when I shared my sadness. I told him how this song had touched my life. He smiled and said it came from his dark hours as he mentioned in this video. He said he was happy to know that his experience had helped someone else that he had never met before. Larry is far from being a jerk,he was humble that night.His brothers weren't there as he was doing a Christian concert with the Issaics that evening.I don't think that would have mattered to him anyway. I was very glad to finally meet one of my childhood favorites. Thank you Larry.Your songs have impacted my life greatly.

There is a jubilee coming up April 22nd at the Chisholm trail cowboy church we have had roy thackerson come play and sing with us the church is on west Terry road west of the 81 highway there will be a least 4 chuck wagons so every body come play and sing with us like to see you there
I use when me and my brothers and sisters would go singing 🎶 conventions in the fifties and sixties and seventies we would have all night singing 🎶 at midnight we would break and eat and then go back to singing 🎶 after earing those were the good old days
