In 2016 my 24yo granddaughter died. She died at the hands of others. I raised her and I was / have been totally devastated. This song, the Gaithers have blessed my heart. In 2019 my daughter, my granddaughters Mother died in 7/2019 and my Dad in 11/19. I’m trying to live yet it is so hard. It was during this time the corporation I had worked at for since 2006 ended my career. I initially worked at Madison Hospital, the name changed to TCMC full time in 1992. The hospital was sold to a major corporation in 2006. I worked a total of 24yrs when my role there was terminated. Losing a career that you love over lies, and the worst director ever there I was grieving my granddaughter and then my job. Followed by the other two deaths.
The Gaithers vocal group and all the great singers there led me to the cross again. Grief has a mind of its own and I believe the Lord sends those you need to begin to heal. I can’t pick just one song because its a process when healing. There are the right songs at the right time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Most people say they understand when they don't. I've never lost a granddaughter or a child so I don't know what you are going through nor can I even begin to understand the pain you still have. I can pray for you and pray that God will comfort you through all the rest of the days of your life. Continue to listen to these uplifting songs from these individuals and know that God loves you and is grieving with you. May God bless you my rriend.
