Im not the best person to talk about the Ultra series just because they dont appeal to me. Heard alot from Ultraseven, also broadcasted in Brazil at the early 80s (before I was born). Because of your review I gave a full episode a chance (epi 8) for the first time and I totally see the reason for the praise. Maybe I will give a try sometime. I'm glad you guys liked the show. I personally found it to be mostly boring, except for a handful of episodes in the middle and the final episode. I'm surprised that you found the characters memorable and the ones from the original Ultraman forgettable when I'm the opposite.
