How long does the modified version last? Till the charge goes out and you need to recharge? Also how long does it take to recharge? And kind of 6V battery are you using?

Did you have to cut out the battery port to allow for the two batteries to fit inside of where the old power wheel battery went
Yes, the factory battery compartment area is sized for a single 6V battery. In order to fit a 12V SLA aftermarket battery, you need to cut the plastic body piece to allow for the larger battery (I used a dremel with cutting tool). Note that we normally run this super 6 dune racer with 12V, the 18V experiment in the video was a short time test.

Can I ask you a few simple questions? Why are you measuring the G-Force of the cars? Can you make a 30volt build with strong motors that can withstand that power, a roll bar, and a harness? And measure the G-Force of that?
+Rainbow Dash I mostly captured the telemetry data for fun, as these little cars don't pull much in the way of G forces. Modding one part of most anything usually leads to the slippery slope of needing to mod something else to keep up with the first upgrade. For these cars, adding enough voltage requires you to strengthen the gearbox (metal first gear, etc), cool the motors, and likely add an ESC for a variable throttle and separate brake pedal. The plastic chassis with no suspension will only handle so much speed before the platform just doesn't make sense anymore. 30v on this little car would be quite the sight!
When you modified the dune racer from 6V to 12V, did you change the motor or gear box? How many motors does the dune racer have.....1 or 2?
This is the “lil’ dune racer”, which is a single seat, 6V vehicle. It comes stock with two motors/gearboxes, one at each rear wheel. You can pop it up to 12v without changing anything else, just get a sla battery, an inline fuse, and connectors.
