You can tell these guys don't know what there doing because of the number of people with pitch forks and rakes, that's what the blade is for on the front.Stump grinding is a 1 man job
I have been grinding stumps for 25 years.and every time I do one and the home owner or someone else is watching.they always say.wouldn't want to get your foot in that.lol
This is not my grinder, I was climbing for an outfit that was using Jim to grind the stumps, all I know about stumpgrinders is they work good and it's a lot easier than diggn' em out !
What I thought right away. Very bad to let anyone stand where he did. That yard couldn’t have been more than 10 to 15’ to the fence, so he had to be pretty close
No, you need to understand the torque points on the machine, the deep you get the more surface area you are hitting and closer you get to your 90 degree cutting zone on your wheel. You can power through the top but under grade he’s doing it right, not letting machine stall
how do you like that rayco?is it a rg 70 or 90? I have a couple grinders one rayco 1625 s.j. and a vermeer 665 b hardly use the rayco unless I absolutely can get my big one in.I think less than a dozen times last year.but already 3 or 4 this year.thinking about getting a bigger self propelled unit but have no idea what.
and I use green teeth on all my machines like you.700 series and 900 series.tried the 1100 series on the old 665 and it was a little to big.have used them for probably 15 or more years.
Thanks to the engineers, who designed thia machine!
Why is one guy standing at the control spot on the grinder like he’s running it? The guy with the remote was I thought 🤷🏻♂️
He was kinda in training and so wanted to get a close look and that is like the only safe place close

Looks like it was a healthy tree, why was it cut down..
Geez Dave, I can't remember, it was like 4 years ago, I think the owner just said to remove it

Yeah, if that grinder hits a rock and flies your way, you can say goodbye to your legs.
A lot of stump grinders that I see are under powered, this one included, they should have the balls to power through it you shouldn’t have to baby it.

We’ll you better have a $100k plus to buy the machine that has the power you feel it needs!
What a goober!
I will pay $35.000 for this machine. Can anybody know the actual cost of this machine?
$90,000 depending on location year and hours I’ve seen then as cheap as $55,000 for a very nice one with lots of life left.
A woodworm´s nightmare
