Pinarellos are actually slowly growing on me with most road race bikes looking so similar these days. Still 6.5k for a frame without handlebar/stem is just totally out of line. Especially with this made in china but selling as made in Italy farce
I don’t know why people bitch so much about the price! I get that it is expensive, but so are most top tier bikes from different brands. It’s no only Pinarello!
Beautiful is subjective. For me, the most beautiful frames are Specialized Tarmac SL5 (yes the old Tarmac without dropped seat stays) and Scott Addict RC. For the most beautiful paint goes to Trek bikes, the Project One collection.
I've never really liked the design because the curves seemed a little tacky looking and the logos have always looked lame to me. The visuals seem kind of locked in early 2000s style even though the materials are advanced. I'm sure it rides great but I don't even need to factor in the price to hate on it haha. I agree about the painted seatposts but I also want painted stem and bars too. When the seat post is painted but the stem/bar isn't it makes it look unbalanced.
I genuinely believe manufacturers do ridiculous pricing of high end bikes like that to discourage people from buying it, pretty much pushing the regular consumer into a lower price bracket.
@@RoquetteAttaquer Nowadays, bike price is crazy stupid. Especially brand from western/europe. Same performance you can get from Pardus/Winspace/Polygon, the brand as a standard price for a bike.

Beautiful looking and beautiful to ride...whither it is a crit race....climbing a mountain or a 180km stage...super comfortable . The F continues tradition of outstanding design and performance from Pinarello!
If I’m not mistaken, the frames are made in Asia then painted and finished in Italy, for some legal reason this made possible for Pinarello to state « made in Italy ».
Yes, all carbon, aluminum frames come from China, then shipped to Taiwan, then export to Western countries. Bike brands then receive product, And they can say made in, wherever. You're pretty much paying for a Velobuild frame for 15k lol
The seat post slides and slips down. The asymmetrically shape changing curves are art. We need a graffiti paint to counter the great simple flat colors. ENVE makes a better cockpit. Analyze bikes side by side. Melee vs Dogma F. UFC of bikes. Thanks brother.
I have my Glory Blue Dogma right here next to me and for anyone interested, the color "in person" is darker and deeper and glossier than in this video. Cameras just can't do the color justice.
It doesn’t make any sense to have a 160mm disc on the rear wheel when you get far more braking power from the front wheel. It just makes you more likely to lock up the back wheel.
This is clearly a beautiful bike, but the price. Honestly, you can get a totally decent Al frame and put the same components on it, and it would weigh maybe 500-600g more, which you probably wouldn't even notice, and it would cost less than half as much. Also, painted seatposts aren't going to catch on, for good reason.
never liked Piharellos.. they always looked like they're melting or bent by accident and the seatpost-to-frame transition is messy looking... this is all of course!!! my opinion :)
No body buy specialized brand anymore, i was a venge owner and i sold it and bought the dogma F and i love it, all rounder bike and all the curves at the frame is crazy beautiful, love Italian made.
Buying a Dogma F was the worst $16k I ever spent. I preordered the Plutonium Flash and 3 months of owning the bike I get this horrible vibration thru my feet when I peddle. The original bike shop can't figure what's causing it and told me "just ride it like that". For that amount of money I shouldnt have to settle for "just ride it like that". I've taken the bike to two other shops to see if they can figure out whats wrong with no luck. Ive reach out to Pinerello with no luck. But they did sent me 3 tee shirts for my troubles. I filed a civil case in court because if this bike were a car, it would be considered a lemon. Too bad I dont have the same protections as a person who buys a car. As of now, I have the most expensive paper weight that has killed all my joy of riding. Buyer beware!
There are many nice bikes... but these are special in my opinion....they are iconic...and different to so many others... they also ride really really well. I almost bought a Dogma F10 5 years aback, but the weight put me off, now this is solved, I have gone ahead with ordering a Dogma F in Electro blue... wasn't much choice on color as all sold out...but disappointing when you spend so much, and almost 1 year wait for myway!
