    As long as you have space in your shed that you dont meyed for anything else - difficult to move if needed

      My layout works for the season. This is positioned out of the way during winter but handy all the rest of the year.

    you remind me of a guy I met at a farmers market in Nova Scotia as a kid like 18-19 years ago lol,I don't own an auger but, I do know if you live in a city/town & need to store a small sailboat (like a lazer 16) or a kayak in your shed, the exact same principal but using rope works well.
    just make sure the hull is supported decently so it doesn't warp over time, especially if your garage gets quite warm.
