So we will be able to scrap the SS armor after the new update. I was wondering if that would work. Do you know if we will be able scrap weapons like the head hunter scythe or cold shoulder?
The only thing to do now is finish scoreboard and play other games. And the next season will have double xp in the first week, thankfully I'll be free for weeks.
@@Ash-mp6vf You can still, but will cost 15 modules. Everything that you craft, except named stuff like the weapons from daily ops, will come with zero stars. Like Secret Service you will craft blank, then do a 15 module reroll to give it stars. At that point, you can individually change the star using a box mod and scrip.
Another way is Armor and PA is pretty much the same, you can SAVE a PA frame with 5 3 star Heavy PA pieces to scrap for 10lb, I have about 13 frames currently per alt saved plus Guns and etc ... 3 ALTS are 1200 in Box and over 1200 on them, and 3rd alt is 800 in Box and my Main is still handing them more Till they cant walk. ... Plus Im stockign up on the Rarer MATS to craft Boxes as well ... OH and are you goign to Scrap on a regular world or Private ?
I thought about getting a bunch of frames, it just seemed like too much of a head ache. Scrap on private is the plan, too much moving stuff around to do it on public.
@@MrMorp76 My main Fallout 1st account has a lot of god rolls stuff, But I dotn play a coule of those toosn now, so I may strip thier stuff and almost full with 4th toon on 2nd Non 1st account, Not as hard to pass between 2 toons on private server for sure and safer, Plus thinking Ill scrap on it also, so No chance or LAG or someone Cheating system with hacks to screw me up
you will have to do the random reroll to make it a 3 star weapon to change it into a 3 star before adding mods. Will have to confirm again on the PTS if it changed the stars on all 3
Okay so here's my question... I heard we can't reroll current legendaries or modify current legendary effects when the update happens? So, if I wanna swap out one of my 1 or 2 star perks on something, I won't be able to do that?
You will be able to reroll legendries, and individual stars. The only ones you can't reroll are the ones you can't reroll now. So quest rewards, event rewards, named legendries, stuff like that. The elder's mark, holy fire, and those special ones from that season can still be rerolled, and stars swapped
I'm pretty sure I heard that there will be a 1-1 exchange for all Cores to Modules once the update posts. No need to try and use up all the cores right now.
I think the announcement yesterday was the first official word on it, in a previous post they said they didn't know what they are doing with them, maybe?
Does atomic shop paint still protect your item from being scrapped or sold? Obviously this is more important now that you can accidentally scrap legendary items.
Atom shop paint stops you from selling or putting in the scrip machine, i dont think it wil stop this, because ever single time you scrap a legend you have to click to confirm yes or no
I think I'm more confused now. I'm not even sure how to ask this. Are you saying that when you scrap a legendary, if you get say the Unyielding mod, that you can't place it on an armor piece until you find a plan to learn the ability to place it on the armor? Saying "learn it" is what I'm not following. I feel like I need a step by step from walking up to a workbench to placing a mod on a weapon. It keeps getting more confusing. Additional questions, When someone "learns" a Plan now, they can craft whatever that is whenever they want. When you say learn Unyielding for example, does that mean after it's learned I never have to scrap Unyielding pieces again for an Unyielding mod? I can just put Unyielding on whatever I want when I want? Another question, if I scrap something and get an Unyielding mod, and then scrap another piece and get a second Unyielding mod, will it say Unyielding (2)? I assume once you use a mod it's gone and you have to scrap for more? I'll look for more videos but this seems like way more work than just rerolling. They should have just allowed you to select a star to reroll it and not make you reroll all 3. Thanks for the video. Now I know I need to research this a lot more haha.
OK, First: so when you first come out of the vault, if a player was standing there and handed you the box Mod "Unyielding" plus a random piece of 3 star armor, and you go get 10 scrip, You would be able to add that box mod to any piece of armor (except Power armor, because that can't be unyielding), or if you had a mod for the second star, or the third star, You can change just the star that you want. The item does have to already be a legendary item. You can't place them on a none legendary item Second. If you took that piece with unyielding (or any other legendary with any star on it) you can now scrap it at any work bench. You will receive a very reduced amount of scrip then you would from putting in a legendary scrip machine, BUT you will have a small chance to have the unyielding box mod, or any of the stars on the item, 'Fall off' of it so you can loot the box mod, Also, you have a very small chance to actually learn the skill to craft that box mod your self. When you scrap enough items to get lucky and learn how to craft those box mods, you can forever go and craft them your self. sell them, trade them, put them on your armor, or go to the vault and give a random person coming out of the vault their first box mod. The box mods weight 1 pound each, so techncally you can have 1200 of them in your stash, and what ever your max carry weight is in your bags. This is part 3 of the video series. Check the description and watch the first one for more detailed information
@@MrMorp76 Thanks so much for the long response! In the "First" you say 10 Scrip, do you mean Modules? Also, just a comment, rerolling now sounds much easier and cheaper. From what I'm hearing, I have to hope to get Unyielding armor or Bloodied weapons and scrap potentially hundreds of them hoping for the chance to get that mod to "fall off". And if it doesn't, there's literally no chance of me being able to get Unyielding or Bloodied on a weapon I want ever again. My only option would be the mercy of other players to sell me that mod at decent price. They should still allow rerolling. Way to make things harder Bethesda. I have a full set of Unyielding Secret Service armor and it only took maybe 20-30 rerolls. Not looking forward to the new method haha.
@@dtuck1980 to apply the mod, you use 1 box mod and 10 scrip as the materials To craft a box it will use modules plus another item. The first 2 videos of this 3 part series go over everything better. @@MrMunchman69 Yes, when scrapping an Item you have a very low chance to loot a box mod from it, either the 1st, second, or 3rd star.
