Found the one on the wiki that looks like it, but says it disappears when you get close. A timid mothman that permanently vanishes when approached or attacked. It is invulnerable.

Listed as a Fixed Bug, maybe this is it? A spawned mothmen could be ostensibly marked as a ghost NPC, intangible and unable to interact with anything. This bug was seen in other creatures in Fallout 76, but it was especially common with scripted mothmen at cultist settlements.

The red is the holy one, the purple are the ones that give you the buffs, and the orange are the baby ones. I haven't found info on the none attacking ones.

Once. Near the lumberyard pond (I think). Early days of the game. Not long after I screenshotted a full-effect-laden bullet that decided to stay sparking midair at those specific coordinates for the entire two hours I played that day.

@@quickfiring if interested, I have the live streams showing me getting these learned on the PTS, or, on the first day of the season I will be streaming scrapping all the stored up stuff I have ready to scrap.

The legendary box mods, for stars on gear, can only be obtained from either scraping items or from crafting them. The box mods them selves are tradable, so you will be able to buy or sell them from players.
