Diesel Driver Experience at Bodmin Railway with 50042 & 47306

Originally booked to drive 50042 Triumph, we had a light engine trip with it in the morning. whilst the other 2 participants took control, I had a chance to experience the signal box.
After the break and it coupled to the clay wagons, it kept shutting down. With the fitter not on site, 50042 was declared a failure and the 47 took it's place. I was most disappointed as I had only booked this experience because of the 50.
I had turns at driving, second man and finally guard duties.

Shame the hoover broke, maybe a fuel line issue or filters. The last time I was in the brake van I didn’t have ear protection. Trying to record the Hoover at full power.
