hey man, hope you're well. Ive been loving the content that you post. This shit is the embodiment of a true BMW since the old e46's of yesteryear and your portrayal of the cars ability with the footcam and the view makes it so much better! truly hope to own one of these one day and drive it down some UK back roads.
On days I can't drive my f80 your videos are very satisfying. You do a nice job with the cameras and the scenery is fantastic. Your driving is more fun to watch than any of the 300k-1mil subscriber guys I've watched. The foot cam is a real nice touch. We use similar technique. Good luck with your channel.
you're the first guy that i've seen that has the same technique for side-footing the heel&toe-ing. I found out that having such a small area of your foot hitting the brake is quite dangerous, as one time my foot slipped off the brake while heel toe-ing luckily i didn't crash heh, but yeah it's quite difficult to do a proper heel&toe on the street because you can't hit the brake that hard since you're driving much much slower than you would be on a track, anyway nice driving dude.
Thanks for the comment brother. - the M performance pedals have very grippy rubber right on the side where I need the grip. That coupled with driving shoes mitigates that risk considerably. - ultimately not slipping off the brake with your foot is advised while driving regardless of heal toeing or not lol
@@PerfectRotation Yeah you're pedals sure feel better... I have cheap plastic pedals on my opel corsa d 1.4. Your M2 looks and sounds fantastic i hope to own one with the N55 one day, seems like the perfect not too unforgiving track car.
My dream car! Can you upload some more with longer videos? Really wish I had the car. I’ve been wanting it since it came out especially with a manual transmission
Only if you've experienced high power rear wheel drive cars before. It would be a fine transmission to learn on, but might be a little much if you're not used to catching the car in various slides
Amazing video as ever bro¡ Did you change the charge pipe?Saturday when i drove mine, at 5000 rpm starting to do a diferent sound, as if it had a small air leak, on the engine side, the car has not lost power, I will have to take it to check, i never change the charge pipe ,dont know wtf , im stock and 40.000 km like 24.000 miles.
What has been your owner feedback or reliability experience of the N55 in the M2 Competition? Im kind of debating picking up a new manual 6MT Toyota Supra or going for a used 2021 M2 Competition. Anything you'd had to replace or service?
My car is a 2018 N55 M2, the comp has the S55. Tbh they’re all pretty reliable. I’d buy a 2018 M2 everytime however. Power to weight is almost the same and sounds better. The N55 is bulletproof
Just an MPE and Dinan Piggyback. Flaps open, traction off. The dinan piggyback makes the pops sound a little more intense sometimes but generally doesn’t make a difference
I love the steering in the M2. Fast, precise, communicative. Better than any other BMW on the market now. I’ve never heard anyone say something bad about the steering honestly. I pretty much only drive it with traction control off which stiffens up the steering a little.
@@PerfectRotation thats really good! I saw people complain about the steering in reddit saying it doesnt have the feel a cayman has for example so I was wondering
@@revento5544 Complaining about the steering and saying it's not as good as Porsche steering are two different things. I'd say early Cayman and Boxster steering is better than the M2 but modern Caymans have a pretty similar amount of steering feel over all.
The clutch stop is placed in the footwell where the clutch hits the firewall and stops it a few inches short. It means you can depress the clutch faster with less leg movement. The best $15 I’ve ever spent
Another viewer commented; "For those wondering, that growling sound when you let off the gas is an anti-lag system. The S55B30T0, S63B44T0/U/4, N55B30T0, S58B30T0, B58B30C/O1/M1 and the BMW I8 3cyl engine all have this anti-lag system that only happens when you have the engine to Sport+ mode. On the N55B30T0 and S63B44T0/U it is most aggressive."
N55's manual 3th and 4th gears are something out of this world. Great video as always!
You can’t beat those early morning drives, no one around, Blissful 😀

The best M2 manual driving videos on YT!
You deserve more subs, nice car and skills, and perfect camera setup
Thanks man! I've got big things planned for the channel. Just working' away behind the scenes. 2023 will be a great year for PR
simply beautiful

Thanks man I really appreciate the words of encouragement. I know it’s been awhile but we’re close to new, much better content
900th subscriber here these videos are amazing bro 🤟🏼

Save the manual
My dream car! Can you upload some more with longer videos? Really wish I had the car. I’ve been wanting it since it came out especially with a manual transmission
There’s a lot planned for 2023. Stay tuned!
We are waiting for new videos
You won't have to wait for much longer. Many plans for 2023
На гладких, извилистых дорогах эта машина впечатляет
Where IS the m2 ? 5 months without a New video. Give us some news !
Got some fun things planned. Soon! Stay tuned
I like the pedal cam angle a lot.
Would you recommend this car as a first manual?
Only if you've experienced high power rear wheel drive cars before. It would be a fine transmission to learn on, but might be a little much if you're not used to catching the car in various slides
@@PerfectRotation I would have to baby this lol thanks for that info.
Nice driving! Do you still have the cdv? I'm going to try to pull mine, I've heard it makes a pretty big difference!
I’ve heard of deleting the clutch delay valve, but honestly I love the way the car shifts
@@PerfectRotation yep, and that's the only thing that worries me about deleting it. Still want to retain those super smooth shifts!
fianlly the video dropped

Think it can't hurt to at least check indeed as the charge pipe is a known ''weakpoint'' of the M2
This terrifies me. Cooling and billet charge and turbo inlet pipe will be installed for next season
all i have to say is "BERRRT"
‘Berta?
How is maintenance on the car now that it's 5+ years old?
The N55 M2 is really reliable. Never a problem
Is that weird blip noise able to be stopped/removed? I always loved the OG M2 but thought that anti lag feature sounded ugly.
It adds to the throttle response dramatically. It doesn’t do it in the regular ‘sport’ or ‘comfort’ mode
@@PerfectRotation oh ok thanks for the response man

What’s the exhaust setup mate? Sounds a lot deeper tone than mine with the MPE
Just an MPE and Dinan Piggyback. Flaps open, traction off. The dinan piggyback makes the pops sound a little more intense sometimes but generally doesn’t make a difference
how is the steering feel in the car? I ve heard people say bad things about it

@@revento5544 i think it’s mostly the steering being lighter then the previous e9x gens but the electric steering is so responsive
What is the purpose of the clutch stop?
It eliminates the "dead space" from the clutch pedal. I recommend doing this. Done it to my M235i as well.
The clutch stop is placed in the footwell where the clutch hits the firewall and stops it a few inches short. It means you can depress the clutch faster with less leg movement. The best $15 I’ve ever spent
how much hp is it making?
5 maybe 6
Does anyone know why exactly do bmw’s do that fart sound when letting off?
