Impressive car and impressive lap! However, 510whp on M2 does no equal 600hp at the crank. Most likely closer to 550-560 crank hp (whoever is interested in crank hp anyway....)

I'm not, BY FAR, an expert mechanic. But after 15 years of nugget cars and all sorts of builds shit builds, this acceleration fits more a 450-500hp car. It's lacking, specially at 200+ km/h for the 600 range.
Yeah what was I missing here? I was waiting for something insane but was pretty let down by quickness and acceleration of the car. I expected way more for 600hp in a damn M2. Feel like we’re not getting the full story on this one
The videos are getting better and better. The intro was brilliant. That's exactly how I react when someone else is driving. Knowing Misha I would hand over the keys in a heartbeat without worrying at all. He would drive a lot better anyway.

It seems that the pure hybrid increased the transient response just enough, that the power increase becomes manageable for the traction control. And yes 600hp seems like a perfect number for the 3L.

I have a tuned N55 myself and that doesn't look like 600hp to me. Maybe on a gloryrun on the dyno with the hood open and everything turned to max... He didn't tell which intercooler and fueling he is running but maybe on the track the car is pulling timing. The owner says 410-420whp (by mistake), but that seems correct. It's a nice car for sure!
Misha is the kind of guy I wouldn't be scared to let him drive my car lol. I would probably be sick in the passenger though as I have motion sickness 😂
I used to have the Tarox brake discs (with Pagid pads) on my M2 also. After one ringday there were wrapped and ready for trash, so ended up fitting the standard BMW discs again without issues. So not a fan of Tarox me ;)

*600hp is definitely not what it used to be and the driver's skill in exceeding 130mph twice is hilariously funny. 95% of the ring was under 100mph. As Joe Namath says, the M2 is struggling with everything -- suspension mechanical grip brakes rolling balance, everything.*

When you asked at the end what power at the wheels he said 410-420? So is he trying to say there is 30% power loss in the drivetrain? I guess the dual clutch transmission and all the comfort accessories take a lot of power. This makes the car around 270whp pet ton, which explains the acceleration not being that crazy. But still plenty fast for sure 👍.
Driving is far diff sense of speed versus siting in passenger when I let my brother drive my M3 comp. I was scared shitless. Now j understand why my wife asks me to slow down all the time lolzzz (but I’m barley accelerating)…0
Isn’t the allure/fun of racing is “taming the beast.” It used to be that racers wanted RWD only. They’re simply more fun to drive and more dangerous. M cars shouldn’t have open differential either, so with LSD and some good tires then it should hook up nicely. Some coil overs instead of springs, and some sway bars to go with those brakes then I would think it’d be a track beast

kids nowadays are all about numbers, but when comes to know what actually the car is capable of, they are dumbfounded. Experienced driver barely can handle 230hp car on its capabilities.
We have a "race track" around where I live and my brother too me on it in his fiesta st, that was the most terrifying thing I ever experienced. I take the course on my ZX-6R and I feel okay. but his little egg makes me uncomfortable on it.

Same here. Tarox dis not last. Pagid rsl7 with stock discs and some cooling mods plus steel brake lines with motorsport oil, more then enough for me.
