- Fundamentalist Mormon Theology has some interesting differences with the LDS Church. Dr Cristina Rosetti says Heavenly Mothers are named, as is the Holy Ghost. We'll also talk about a specialized form of reincarnation and the economic order of heaven. Check out our conversation...

Very fun, added her book to my wishlist gotta see the sources to all these fun things!
Dr Rosetti is my favorite guest on GT
I would love to see her on a panel with Lindsey Hansen Park.
She has been on Linday's "Year of Polygamy" podcast.
Wait a minute...if Joseph is the Holy Spirit...then during his (His?) mortal probation... the only people the Spirit fell upon... were people Joseph was wrestling with. 😮
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can get behind the idea of the Holy Spirit being incarnate towards the end of times, but I have difficulty with Joseph Smith Jr. being that individual. There are scriptures that may point to the incarnate Holy Ghost, such as Lev 1 (three sacrifices, one of a bullock, one of a lamb and one of doves), 2 Nephi 31:12, 2 Nephi 32:5-6 (a bit tricky, but pay attention to who/what the subject is). There are others (John 16, a few places in the D&C and Isaiah, maybe Hosea), but they are much more opaque and you have to adjust your frame of reference a bit to make that leap. Still, Joseph made so many errors during his lifetime, and also never made the claim explicitly himself nor did his associates. Brigham had no issue teaching a great many provocative and contested things, and not even he made that leap to my knowledge. If it were the case I'd expect such notions would have shown up during his lifetime, or during Brigham's ministry rather than well after. Still, extremely provocative and worth thinking about.
So Jesus having 3 wives is fundamentalist Mormon doctrine? Did he get married in heaven? Before coming to earth or after? I’m fascinated by this idea.
There is a book called "Jesus was Married" that is 50 years old. I did an interview on the anniversary. Mary Magdalene, Mary & Martha are some of the possible wives. See ua-cam.com/video/PaYjbZp6kow/v-deo.html
@@GospelTangents interesting! I’ll watch that. Thanks!
