I like the black better. I think the red would look better if you could remove the plasti dip from the centers of the F, 5 and the 0, it just kinda all runs together. Awesome truck my man!

It’s really up to you. If you want to bring out the color of your custom seat covers then go with red. But if you want to compliment the color of your truck go with the black. It’s really about how you want people to view your truck. I couldn’t decide which color be cause both look awesome.... it came down to how you want others to see your truck.
Either way the plasti-dip made your truck unique in their own ways.

Did you ever do a video on which way you went? I like the red. Glad it has a little sheen to it. Saw another video that looked flat and it wasn’t pretty. I have a Ram and have the red tow hooks. All white truck with chrome delete in the plasti dip black. But love the red tow hook pop. Thinking of doing the badges in red! Thanks!
I definitely like the black more, it gives your truck a tighter look. I think the red would look nicer if your truck was black. But none the less its up to you my man!

I agree Danny, the red would be a great pop of color if I still had my old black truck. Might be best to stick with the black accents on this truck color
For what it's worth... I think the red emblem looks much better! On a black vehicle the contrast is so striking that it really gives your truck that extra "wow" factor that I'm sure is gonna catch the eye of people that you're driving by.
It definitely has a good pop to it. When I had it on my grey truck, you could see it from a mile away lol

Personally, I have never really been a fan of red, however, it doesn’t look too bad! In my opinion though, the black does look better with the color of the truck. But hey, after all, it is your truck & it’s more what you like better that matters the most!! Keep the vids coming!!!

A darker red for sure, and maybe, if you're any good with a paint brush, either black pinstripes thru the middle or black outlines like on the edges of the emblem pieces.That's all if you're stuck on using the red.
My opinion is the matte black.
It matches the wheels and mirrors. Sore thumbs are better when they are understated.
As far as the grill, what do you think about painting the grill grey and the letters black??

Taking risks is the only way you learn. I camo'ed my boat once. I swear even the fish was laughing at my terrible paint job.

Its not that the red looks bad... i think it's too IN YOUR FACE for a solid colour... I think it would work really well in some sort of pin stripe feature on black... or like if the F150 is black and the xlt below it was red.
The only way you could make a red badge work is if you were to pinstripe the truck with red accents IMO. Maybe if you were to find a darker tinted red it would work.
I agree. The red needs to be WAY darker if it is going to look goods with the color of the truck. Oh well, luckily it peeled off with no issues!
i like the black over the red personally, i get what you were going for. i’m a little surprised to see you do these things to an expensive vehicle though. nevertheless i respect your attitude and outlook to customizing your vehicle to make it look personal and your own. we need more of that, too many vehicles get stuck in the box where they all look the same.
i would say stick with the blacked out emblems, and stray away from the ford lettering, look at your truck and get a feel for what its personality is.

The gray looks more professional modification - more tasteful. The red screams "I found a can of spray paint and LOOK WHAT I DID"!
A split screen of both would have been a good way to contrast the options. My ADHD had me jumping back a few times.
The over spray had me actually say, "Dude, what the F^CK did you just do to your new truck..." Glad to see it 'buffed out'.
Plasti dip peals off real easy so the over spray isn't a huge deal.

Haha! Yeah, like what David said the plasti dip overspray literally just wipes off super easy so overspray isn't much of an issue. I think the black accents are what I'm going to go with moving forward as I think they look best
